Erislandy Lara vs. Danny Garcia Betting Picks and Predictions
Danny Garcia is the bigger hitter of the two men so will have the proverbial puncher's chance.
But, this will be the first time Garcia has fought at middleweight. It will also be the American’s first fight in over two years, and only his second since his December 2020 loss to Errol Spence Jr.
Combined, this seems like a lot for Danny Garcia to overcome.
On the flip side, the last time Erislandy Lara went 12 rounds was in his win over Greg Vandetti in August 2020. Lara has fought three times since, with his fights won inside one, eight, and two rounds.
It would be a fair assumption to say that Lara is also a little ring-rusty as well.
Nevertheless, the facts are that the Cuban has been the more busy of the two fighters in recent years.
Lara may also be older at 41, but he looks after himself and in his case, age is just a number.
Erislandy Lara is also fighting at his natural weight. Whereas, Danny Garcia is fighting at this weight for the first time in his career. We expect the fight to go in the favor of the defending champion.
Erislandy Lara is our betting pick to beat Danny Garcia.
