Itās going to be one hell of a main event fight. But, there is much more on offer for UFC 254 bettors. The card is stacked with fights like Robert Whittaker vs Jared Cannonier and the rematch between Magomed Ankalaev and Ion Cutelaba.
There will be questions asked of Khabib in Abu Dhabi, as the contender is an unconventional fighter with knockout power. Khabib wonāt be worried though, 28-0 is a phenomenal record and one Gaethje will have to work harder than ever before to break.

As it stands, UFC 254 is set to be one of the best cards of the year. The Cannonier Whittaker fight will setup the title-shot with the current Middleweight champ Israel Adesanya. Can Gaethje take down the champ? Letās find out.

Khabib Nurmagomedov to beat Gaethje via TKO (1.33)
Khabib has become a household name for all UFC fans, having taken the competition by storm back in 2012 and rising to the top of the ranks. Heās unbeaten and holds the longest win streak in the UFC today.
Itās Khabibās ferocious style that makes him such a great champ. Heās disciplined and sticks to the same game plan every time. A slow mauling of the opponent, with the fight always moving at his pace.
But what does the challenger offer that we havenāt seen before? Well, the matchup isnāt too different from the previously proposed matchup between Tony Ferguson and Khabib.
Gaethje is a brawler, like Khabib, but possesses knockout power, unlike something weāve seen from Khabib before. But, unless the challenger can land that knockout punch, itās going to be a tough night for the American.
itās not easy

Justin Gaethje to win by KO/TKO in the second round (3.30)
Gaethje is 22-2, with 19 of those wins coming via TKO/KO. Something weāve not seen in a fight against Khabib is something who will be able to go in there and take a beating while delivering knockout strikes.
The Gaethje fight against Barboza was a prime example of what heās capable of even when under the cosh. Thereās no debate about the fitness and ability to take a beating when it comes to Gaethje. But, can he withstand the Russiansā style of fighting?
If Khabib goes in for the takedown and just mauls Gaethje on the floor from the get-go, then this will be a one-sided boring fight. However, if they stay on their feet, then anything can happen.

Jared Cannonier vs Robert Whittaker
Jared Cannonier is in the prime of his career. At 36 years old and with a record of 13-4, itās definitely time for him to make his mark on the sport. He last lost to Dominick Reyes at Light Heavyweight back in 2018.
Since moving up to Middleweight, Cannonier is undefeated and has shown signs of what it takes to be the champ. Heāll face the Australian Robert Whittaker next, which wonāt be an easy fight.
Robert Whittaker has a record of 21-5, having lost the title to the reigning champ Adesanya in his last fight. While he lost that fight, itās important to remember how dangerous Whittaker can be.
He has a great range of striking and is a tough character. This will probably be the fight of the night. Expect Cannonier to cause an upset.
šāWhat I see now is [Robert Whittaker] wanting to fight Jack Hermansson, and Costa, and Izzy in his interviews and nobody is mentioning my name. So everybody must have forgotā¦but Iām still here.ā ā @killagorillamma on the middleweight title pictureš#TLTS@lthomasnews pic.twitter.com/XksiSXfocf
