Now let's take a closer look at the four remaining guys in the competition.
Carlos Alcaraz -135
Itās pretty amazing to think that after such an incredible era of tennis with Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic, we could be witnessing the emergence of a player their equal, or possibly even better.
The performances of 20-year-old Carlos Alcaraz have been simply out of this world. He hasnāt just beaten five opponents to get this far, he has destroyed them. Okay, so he dropped a set in the 2nd Round against Taro Daniel. But apart from that set, and a 3rd set tiebreak against Stefanos Tsitsipas, he simply hasnāt been troubled.

Alcaraz started the competition as the favorite at +160 with the top-rated online tennis betting sites. He is now into -135 to win the competition. And just bear in mind, his opponent in the semi-final on Friday is Novak Djokovic.
In this match, Alcaraz is the favorite at -195, with Djokovic at +170. If it goes to form, it looks set to be a humbling day for Novak. But the Serb is our pick to win. So we have to live in hope.
Novak Djokovic +225
The odds of Novak winning his third French Open have barely changed. The Serb opened up at odds of +240, and he is now +225. The prospect of having to face the formidable-looking Carlos Alcaraz at the semi-final stage has meant his odds have stagnated. And as weāve already discovered, the same canāt be said of Alcaraz.
For all the talk about Alcaraz, Djokovic himself has only lost one set in five matches. The problem is, the Serb hasnāt won his matches in the same dominating fashion as Alcaraz. The only match he won without being pushed was his 4th Round win over Juan Pablo Varillas (6-3, 6-2, 6-2). In every other match, his opponent has pushed him in at least one set.

But if anybody can beat Alcaraz, surely itās the 22-time Grand Slam winner. Yes, his methods might not always be to the liking of tennis purists, but the Serb has a way of getting under the skin of his opponents, and putting them out of their rhythm. If nothing else, it will be interesting to see how Alcaraz deals with all of Novakās game-playing tactics when they meet.
Alexander Zverev +900
Alexander Zverev started the competition at odds of +2500 but has seen those odds slashed to +900. This price cut has also seen him go ahead of Fridayās semi-final opponent, Casper Ruud in the latest betting. In their semi-final, Zverev is the marginal favorite at -115. Ruud is -105.
Zverevās 3rd Round win over Frances Tiafoe is arguably his toughest match to date. The German had to dig deep to beat the Amerian (3-6, 7-6, 6-1, 7-6). But apart from that, and a dropped set against TomĆ”s MartĆn Etcheverry in the quarter-final, it has been relatively comfortable progress to this stage for the giant German.
Casper Ruud +1000
Last yearās beaten finalist started the French Open at +1600, and heās now at +1000. Ruud didnāt come into the competition in great form but has battled his way through to the last four.
All but two of his matches have gone to four sets, so itās fair to say heās battle-hardened. Ruud thrives on this, and he wonāt give any of his opponents an easy ride. We think he may well have too much for Zverev, and if he can take the German deep, we can see Casper Ruud making the final again.
Our Picks
We started the tournament with Novak Djokovic and Casper Ruud as our two picks. After what weāve witnessed from Carlos Alcaraz, itās hard to see anybody stopping the Spanish superstar.
Weāre happy to stick with Ruud though. At the very least, heās giving us a run for our money. And if he can get past Zverev, heās into his second successive final. There, he will have the experiences of last year to draw on, and we think that still makes him a good value betting pick.
