The world's top two players are the betting favorites at the ATP Paris Masters, even though neither has ever tasted victory in the event. World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz is the +185 chalk to win his first Paris Masters title. Meanwhile, you can access a betting line of +210 on Jannik Sinner, the top-ranked player in the world.

Alcaraz Looking To Make His Move

It was in 2022 when Alcaraz enjoyed his best showing in the Paris Masters. The Spaniard advanced as far as the quarter-finals before bowing out of the tournament.

He's a four-time tournament champion on the ATP Tour this year. Alcaraz most recently won just over a month ago in Beijing. He beat Sinner in the final of that tournament.

Sinner Already Sainted Into ATP Finals

The world No. 1 from Italy, Sinner is already assured of carrying the ATP year-end No. 1 ranking into the ATP Finals. The 23-year-old has won seven tour-level titles this year.

Paris has not proven kind to Sinner, though. He has compiled a 1-2 record in the tournament. That includes a loss to Alcaraz in his 2021 Paris Masters debut.

Medvedev A Past Paris Masters Winner

Medvedev beat Zverev in the 2020 final of this tournament. The world No. 5 is 45-18 on court this season, but is still in search of his first tournament victory for 2024.

Medvedev lost to Novak Djokovic when seeking to defend his Paris Masters title in 2021. Seeded third in last year's tournament, Medvedev bowed out in the second round.

Three Former ATP Paris Masters Champs In Field

Medvedev is among three past winners of the event competing in this year's Paris Masters. A longshot on the board in this year's tourney at +6600, Karen Khachanov was the 2018 Paris Masters champ.

Holger Rune won the event in 2022. In last year's Paris Masters final, Grigor Dimitrov dropped the final to Djokovic. Zverev is a six-time Masters 1000 finalist. He won the Masters 1000 event at Rome earlier this year.

ATP Paris Masters Longshot Bets

American Taylor Fritz (+2500) was a semifinalist in Paris last year. Hometown heroes Arthur Fils and Ugo Humbert are both set at odds of +3300. Humbert, the 15th seed, could make use of his overpowering serve to make a run on his home court. Humbert beat Fils in the final at Tokyo last month.

World No. 10 Alex de Minaur of Australia has reached the quarter-finals or better in each of his last four tournaments.

ATP Paris Masters Prop Bets To Consider

Beyond future book wagering on the outcome of the tournament, or moneyline, spread or total plays on individual matches, there are a number of unique prop plays being offered on the ATP Paris Masters.

For example, you can bet on whether there will be an unseeded finalist. That might seem like a longshot, but in 2022, the unseeded Rune dethroned defending champion Djokovic to win his first ATP Masters 1000 title. In fact, since 2005 three unseeded players, as well as 16th-seeded Jack Sock (2017) have won the Paris Masters title.

You can also bet on whether a qualifier will reach the final, or which half of the draw will produce the tournament champion. Another option is to wager on whether the eventual winner will drop a set en route to the title.

And The Winner Is . . .

Sinner has reached the finals in each of his last four tournaments, winning three of them. However, he faces a rugged route through the draw, with potential matches against Ben Shelton, Rune, Fritz and de Minaur.

Alcaraz, meanwhile, should be coasting through his half of the draw at least until the semifinals. He'll be the more rested of the pair if the world's top two players do indeed square off in the Paris Masters 1000 final. Take the Spaniard to add his fifth ATP title of 2024.
