Liverpool (-375) vs. Watford (+950)

Coutinho

Liverpool go into their home game with Watford third in the table, level on points with Manchester City and Arsenal. They could go clear at the top of the table if they win and Manchester City fail to beat Middlesbrough.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are -375 to claim all three points against Watford, which is exactly what they should do. They are unbeaten at home in their last four fixtures. Even with a -0.5 spread, Liverpool are -145 favorites. At home, Liverpool have won three and drawn one game, scoring 11 goals and conceding three.

Watford have started the campaign well and are unbeaten in their last four games so their +950 odds on winning have some value. However, this fixture last season saw Liverpool run out 2-0 winners, and this Liverpool team is much better than the one that claimed all three points that day.

Bovada price another 2-0 Liverpool win at +750, although I prefer 2-1 to Liverpool at +750 simply because they always seem to give opposing teams a chance to score and Watford have the firepower to hurt the Merseyside team. Another good bet is for there to be between two and three goals scored at +105.

Watford will put up a good fight in this game, but Liverpool will run out winners and keep tabs with the league leaders.

Pick: Liverpool to win 2-1 at +750

Chelsea (-185) vs. Everton (+475)

Costa

This fixture last season produced a thrilling 3-3 draw, but don’t expect the same fireworks this time around. Under the guidance of Antonio Conte, Chelsea look like a different team, one that is resilient in defense and extremely dangerous going forward.

Chelsea have recorded shutout wins in their previous four games although they do come across former striker Romelu Lukaku, who is +200 to add to his seven league goals despite having never scored in the league against his former club.

The Blues have an in-form striker of their own in Diego Costa. He is the league’s top scorer with eight goals in his past 10 games. It’s no surprise that Costa is -120 to score at any time during the 90-minutes and +300 to open the scoring.

Everton’s defense is the fifth best on the road, conceding only five goals. Their best result away from home was a 1-1 draw against Manchester City and I expect a similar result when they travel to Stamford Bridge.

I wouldn’t completely write off Everton’s chances, especially as their +475 odds on winning look enticing, yet I’m opting for a 1-1 draw in this fixture and that is a result that both sets of managers and fans will likely be happy with.

Pick: 1-1 draw at +650

Arsenal (+100) vs. Tottenham Hotspur (+260)

Kane

By the time Arsenal take on North London neighbors Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, they will know if they can go clear at the top of the Premier League table because both Manchester City and Liverpool will have played.

Arsene Wenger’s men are unbeaten in nine games, including four games at home, although a derby game can tear up the form book. The game at the Emirates ended in a 1-1 draw last season, with a 2-2 draw being the result at White Hart Lane.

Arsenal have a few injury concerns going into this difficult fixture with Nacho Monreal, Theo Walcott, and Santi Carzola all facing late fitness tests, while Lucas Perez, Hector Bellerin, Danny Welbeck, and Per Mertesacker are all set to miss out.

With their rivals having to make several changes, this could be Tottenham’s best chance to secure their first win at Arsenal since November 2010 when they won 2-3. Harry Kane could return to the squad after his ankle injury while Eric Lamela is also back in contention.

This information makes me lean towards at Tottenham win at +260 which is the same price you can claim for a draw. Perhaps look at the Draw No Bet market where Tottenham are a still value-packed +165 to head home with all three points.

Pick: Tottenham to win with Draw No bet at +165
