Marcus Rashford to score against West Brom
Manchester United host West Bromwich Albion on matchday 30 knowing that nine of their previous 11 fixtures at home have produced fewer than three goals. It is not going to be helped by the fact Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suspended and Wayne Rooney is injured.
This could give youngster Marcus Rashford a rare opportunity to start up front. Rashford has been used mostly as a substitute this season, and when he has played it has generally been out on the wings. This is the main reason that Rashford has only scored seven goals in 43 appearances this season and hasn’t scored in the league since September 24.
Despite a lack of goals, Rashford looked lively when he appeared for England in their 2-0 win over Lithuania and he strikes me as the type of player who will grab the chance to lead the line.
Rashford is +400 to score first in the game and +120 to find the back of the net during the 90 minutes.
Jermain Defoe to score against Watford
Jermain Defoe continues to defy time by banging in goals at the ripe old age of 34. The Sunderland striker scored the opening goal in England’s 2-0 win against Lithuania on March 26, his first appearance in an England shirt for three years.
Defoe has 14 league goals this season despite Sunderland languishing towards the bottom of the table. The diminutive forward has hit the target with 58% of his shots and averages a goal every 179 minutes.
He hasn't scored in his last four Premier League outings, but Watford have only kept four clean sheets this campaign so Defoe should get plenty of chances to score and he doesn't usually need a second sniff in front of goal.
Back Defoe to open the scoring at +500 or in the 90 minutes at +160.
Eden Hazard to score against Crystal Palace
Speculation about Eden Hazard's Chelsea future is intensifying, with rumors flying about his prospective move to Real Madrid. Look for Hazard to put in a scintillating performance to further cement his value on the global market.
Hazard is on 11 league goals and will be relishing the thought of showing his silky skills against a Crystal Palace team that has only kept two shutouts away from home this season.
Bovada has odds of +450 on Hazard to bag the opener and +130 to score before the referee blows the final whistle.
