Manchester United (+110) vs. Tottenham Hotspur (+245)

Manchester United

Manchester United go into their match against Tottenham Hotspur already at least nine points off a Champions League place and knowing anything other than a victory will suffice.

United may count themselves unlucky to have drawn 1-1 away at Everton last weekend, an 89th minute penalty by Leighton Baines equalized for the Toffees and ensured both teams shared the spoils. Jose Mourinho said in a press conference after the Everton game that his side are playing well, but not getting the rub of the green, and when their luck changes they will soar up the league table.

United have drawn their last four games at home, while Tottenham are without a win in four away games. A draw is the most likely result here. The draw is priced at +240 with Bovada, but I particularly like the look of a 1-1 draw at +500. United have drawn three games at home by that same score line while Spurs have tied 1-1 on the road three times, too.

Pick: 1-1 draw at +500

Chelsea (-375) vs. West Bromwich Albion (+1000)

ChelseaNobody could have predicted Chelsea would be sitting atop the Premier League table after 14 games, yet there they are, three points clear of the chasing pack. Antonio Conte has worked wonders with what is essentially the same squad that finished 10th in the league last season.

Chelsea have won their last eight consecutive games, scoring 22 goals and conceding only twice. That is title-winning form wherever you play soccer. The Blues have won 3-0 and 2-1 twice at home this season although the former is unlikely this week as West Brom have the third-best defense on the road.

West Brom had a difficult start to the season yet find themselves seventh in the table. The Baggie have only registered two points from six games against teams in the top half of the Premier League table so far this campaign, and it is difficult to see them returning home with anything from the Chelsea fixture.

I think West Brom will do their utmost to go in level at half time, meaning the half time / full time market of Draw-Chelsea at +220 represents good value.

Pick: Draw-Chelsea half time / full time at +220

Liverpool (-315) vs. West Ham United (+750)

Liverpool

Liverpool should be only one point behind leaders Chelsea, but threw away a 3-1 lead with 10 minutes to go against Bournemouth to lose 4-3 and now trail the leaders by four points.

The Bournemouth loss highlighted the best and worst of Liverpool, the best being their awesome attacking prowess and the worst their defensive frailties. Liverpool have now conceded 18 goals in 14 league games, more than anyone other than Bournemouth in the top half of the table.

West Ham are in desperate trouble at the foot of the table and are only one point above the relegation zone. The Hammers have conceded 29 goals and are without a win in their last five outings.

Rumors are circulating that West Ham could soon part with manager Slaven Bilic and that is far from ideal preparation for this game. West Ham beat Liverpool 2-0 at home and 3-0 away but this West Ham team is a shadow of the one from last season.

This game should have plenty of goals so the over 2.5 goals at -215 looks tremendous value. If you can parlay that with a Liverpool win then you should be onto a winner.

Pick: Over 2.5 goals at -215 and parlay with a Liverpool win
