PSV Eindhoven: Eredivisie Outright Odds-On Favorites

After dominating the league with their offense and defense, PSV earned the right to win the Eredivisie. They scored 111 goals and gave up just 21, so no team could match those totals. This was PSV's first title in six years, and they now have 25 Eredivisie titles, comfortably ahead of Feyenoord's 16 and still far behind Ajax's record 36. The team only suffered one loss during the season.

Luuk de Jong, Johan Bakayoko, Malik Tillman, Joey Veerman, and Jordan Teze all contributed to the team's offensive assault, which helped them place first. Maarten Martens took over as AZ Alkmaar's manager when Pascal Jansen was sent into exile following a shocking defeat in the KNVB Cup. Vangelis Pavlidis kept up his prolific scoring, amassing 29 points in 2023–24. However, he has left, leaving Troy Parrott at AZ Alkmaar in his place.

Twente, who have finished the top 4 thrice in the last five seasons, have faith they can continue a golden era for soccer for the club. Just once has the club ever touched silverware in the Eredivisie (a feat achieved back in 2009-10). A repeat performance would be asking a lot from a squad now without key players, including Robin Propper, Gijs Smal and Manfred Ugalde.
