Barcelona vs Osasuna Predictions from Top Sportsbooks
Barcelona are massive favorites to extend their unbeaten streak to 19 games across all competitions. The club is priced at (-314) to get the full 3 points and earn a solo lead atop La Liga. Osasuna is lined at (+715), which equates to an implied probability of 12.3%. A draw is currently available at (+525) at BetUS and BetNow.

Barca Lineup to See Plenty of Change on Thursday
Hansi Flick will have limited options available to him upon kickoff Thursday in Barcelona. Many of his starting players were selected for duty in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, UEFA Nations League, and other international competitions. Pau Cubarsi is among the Barca squad members unlikely to play against Osasuna, having picked up an injury with Spain. Raphinha and Ronald Araujo are also in doubt.
There were hopes Araujo would be rested for Uruguay’s match against Bolivia after manager Marcelo Bielsa alluded to something similar, but that was not the case. A 48-hour turnaround for the defender to arrive from La Paz and suit up for Barcelona is likely too tall a task to ask of the veteran. That leaves Flick with Eric Garcia and Inigo Martinez as his remaining options in central defense.
But Barcelona has done without Araujo in the past and an 18-game unbeaten streak certainly points to an abundance of talent in the Catalonian capital. The club has also won five straight matches at home against Osasuna, dating back to July of 2020. Do they really need Cubarsi, Araujo and Raphinha to get the job done? This certainly isn’t a match they fold over quickly either: with just 11 matches to go in the domestic season, Barcelona will need every point they can get to hoist the trophy come late May.
Osasuna Players Face Long Trek Just to Arrive in Barcelona
While Barcelona are the club more stocked with international talent, Osasuna have their fair share of potential absences to deal with. Defender Enzo Boyomo is essential to Osasuna’s backline but the Cameroonian will be in jeopardy of missing out on Thursday’s game. Cameroon and Libya play on Tuesday night, which will force Boyomo to take up to three flights to Barcelona just to make it in time for the match. If Boyomo sees extended playing time in that match, Osasuna manager Vicente Moreno will likely elect to rest him.
The issue in defense for Osasuna is compounded by the absence of Unai Garcia in training. The Navarre-born defender joins Bryan Zaragoza, Lucas Torro, and Ante Budimir among the potential absentees. Garcia is not nearly as crucial as Boyomo, however; he has not seen the playing field in La Liga this season. Osasuna will have to look ahead in anticipation of their Sunday match against Basque rival Athletic Club as well.
Barcelona vs Osasuna Predictions
While thoughts will likely drift to the sudden passing of their club doctor Carles Minarro Garcia, Barcelona will look to rally a united front on Thursday. Both clubs were harshly denied the option of postponing this match to a later date. That leaves just a few days between scheduled international fixtures and this featured match. In this context, it is easy to assume Barca will have trouble against Osasuna.
But could the short turnaround narrative be overblown? Osasuna will be struggling without some of their key players as well, lessening the disadvantage for the hosts. Additionally, the young starlet Fermin Lopez will likely get the nod from Flick. That is certainly a downgrade from Raphinha but not nearly as big of a step down as many may think.
My projections have Barcelona as (-675) favorites against Osasuna. I have an Asian handicap line of -1.5 in favor of the hosts lined at (-222), assuming full health. But current lines have Barcelona at (-120) to win by multiple goals. This is quite the edge, and nothing to disregard even considering the circumstances.
I think the smart play is to fade the public narrative Barcelona will struggle here and back them at -1.5. Barca has dominated La Liga this calendar year and typically has no trouble against Osasuna on their home ground. The line is just way too cheap compared to what I believe we would be getting at full strength, so I am comfortable being contrarian in this position. Go with the Blaugrana to make it look easy in this standalone Thursday fixture.
