For some who partake in online soccer betting, investing in betting odds on the 2022 FA Cup can be a little intimidating. We don't blame you. After all, there are so many teams and conferences for which to account—nearly 100 in total from the English Premier League, English Football League and then several non-league teams. It's a lot to digest.
And yet, betting on the FA Cup isn't actually all that complicated—especially now. Round 5 of the 2022 FA Cup tournament begins on March 2, so the field has already been a little winnowed down for us. That makes it much easier to spot and analyze the most serious contenders to win it all. And so, as we drop some fresh 2022 FA Cup picks ahead of Round 5, we are naturally trying to figure out whether anyone can beat Manchester City or Liverpool FC, both of whom have been dominant thus far.
Before getting to all of our FA Cup predictions, though, let's first go over the latest 2022 FA Cup betting odds:

Manchester City Should be Favored to Win FA Cup
Never mind Peterborough trying to beat Manchester City. The real question is whether anyone can.
Manchester City's combination of ball movement and accuracy when firing away on net is out of this world. They should be the outright FA Cup favorites by a mile.
OSB Prediction: Manchester City (-909)
Liverpool FC is Poised to Advance Past Round 5
Speaking of high-powered offenses...
Liverpool FC is averaging six goals and assists combined per 90 minutes. That is not only the second highest mark of the tournament, behind only Manchester City, but Liverpool FC gets to face a Norwich City defense that, quite frankly, isn't good.
OSB Prediction: Liverpool FC (-666)
Crystal Palace Squeaks Past Stoke City
Going with the upset here says everything about our faith in the defense of Stoke City.
Sure, Crystal Palace has some interesting formations that spread the pitch. But Stoke City has yet to allow a single goal and is great at controlling the pace of play.
OSB Prediction: Crystal Palace (+328)
Tottenham Hotspur Takes Down Middlesbrough FC
Though the offense from Tottenham Hotspur has left much to be desired, we have even less faith in Middlesbrough FC. They are currently shaky at both ends of the pitch and aren't scaring anyone with their paltry 7.90 shot attempts on goal per 90 minutes.
OSB Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur (-151)
Chelsea FC Should Destroy Lutentown
Chelsea FC has admittedly struggled at times with their goalkeeper rotation. Their 66.7 save percentage is for sure concerning.
Then again, Chelsea FC doesn't allow many shots on goals in the first place. Their defense on attackers is out of this world.
OSB Prediction: Chelsea FC (-243)
Southampton FC has the Chops to Upset West Ham United
Lots of people will go with West Ham United here. But there's a reason why both of these teams are paying out better than even money.
That reason? Southampton FC is coming alive on offense. Somewhat quietly, nearly 50 percent of their shots on goal are on target—a rock-solid mark for this tourney.
OSB Prediction: Southampton (+178)
Everton FC Easily Outpaces Boreham Wood FC
Boreham Wood FC deserves credit for picking up their intensity on defense. But there are maybe two teams that can effectively slow down the hyper-aggressive Everton FC. Boreham Wood FC isn't one of them.
To wit: Everton FC is averaging 15 shots on goal per 90 minutes, an impossibly high mark. They will win this one easily.
OSB Prediction: Everton FC (-714)
Nottingham Forest Wins Close One vs. Huddersfield Town
Nottingham Forest doesn't receive enough credit for how close they are to a major breakthrough.
Given how accurate they are at converting looks near the interior, they should be a much bigger threat in this tournament. Their passing can be spotty, but they still do a nice job limiting their turnovers.
OSB Prediction: Nottingham Forest (+105)
