Night 14 of the 2023 Premier League Darts season is coming from the AO Arena in Manchester. Michael Smith was the winner in Leeds last week. Can he win again this week and strengthen his position in the top four? Letâs take a look with our latest free darts betting picks.

Even though Michael Smith won last week, itâs still Gerwyn Price who tops the points table. His appearance in yet another final has seen Price increase his lead at the top to four points over MVG.
As for Michael Smith, his win saw him move back to third in the table, a position he had previously held for most of the season. This was until he dropped out after Night 12 in Rotterdam. But last weekâs results have seen Smith and Nathan Aspinall opening up a bit of a gap over Jonny Clayton who now sits fifth. And with just three nightâs remaining, every point is now crucial.

Betting to win Night 14
The best darts betting sites again make Gerwyn Price the favorite to win the night. The Iceman is +275 to win Night 14, with the top online sportsbooks pricing both Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith up at +300.
With all three of the betting favorites on one side of the draw, the odds on Peter Wright (who is on the opposite side of the draw) are just +700. One of Wright, Clayton, Dobey or Van den Bergh are guaranteed a place in this week's final, meaning it could be a good chance for a shock winner.

Our Pick to win Night 14
Quarter-Finals
- Peter Wright vs Jonny Clayton
- Chris Dobey vs Dimitri Van den Bergh
- Michael Smith vs Nathan Aspinall
- Gerwyn Price vs Michael van Gerwen
Semi-Finals
- Peter Wright/Jonny Clayton vs Chris Dobey/Dimitri Van den Bergh
- Michael Smith/Nathan Aspinall vs Gerwyn Price/Michael van Gerwen
Gerwyn Price and MVG meet in the quarter-final. So with one of them guaranteed an early exit, could this be another opportunity for Michael Smith? We think it is. And along with his red hot form from last Thursday, we think this all makes Smith a good value pick to win Night 14.
Peter Wright +124 vs Jonny Clayton -144
Peter Wright has had a torrid Premier League Darts season. In recent weeks he has improved. But he does have the look of a man that just wants this torture to now end.
Wright has tried to fight his way back to form, and last week he defeated - the also fatigued looking - Michael van Gerwen 6-3 in the quarter-final. Wright couldnât back that up in his semi-final though, going down 6-2 to Michael Smith with an appalling performance that saw Snakebite average just 80.41.
As for Jonny Clayton, he lost 6-2 last weekend to compatriot Gerwyn Price. Clayton did average 100.47, but he was unable to live with the Iceman.
Clayton needs the win to continue challenging for the top four. But will the pressure get to him? Maybe. But either way, we can still see Peter Wright upsetting him.
Chris Dobey +102 vs Dimitri Van den Bergh -122
Although both Chris Dobey and Dimitri Van den Bergh can still qualify mathematically, itâs highly unlikely either player will make it to finals night. Both players have struggled in the competition, and a bit like what we said about Peter Wright, both probably canât wait for the Premier League to end.
Last week Chris Dobey lost 6-1 to Michael Smith in the opening round. As for Dimitri Van den Bergh, he lost 6-4 to Nathan Aspinall in his quarter-final. This match looks like the toss of a coin really. So weâre going with Chris Dobey for the better odds.
Michael Smith -155 vs Nathan Aspinall +135
Smith looked sensational in beating Gerwyn Price in the final on Night 13. The current world champion defeated the Iceman 6-4 with an average of 104.86. Thatâs the level needed to beat Price at the moment.
But Smith managed it, and in doing so, reclaimed his place in the top four of the points table. It was almost as if dropping out of the top four the previous week was the trigger point for Smith to switch back on and play to his potential. And as a result, itâs hard to see anything other than a win for Michael Smith in this match.
Gerwyn Price -133 vs Michael van Gerwen +113
How often do we see this? Michael van Gerwen is not the favorite to win a darts match! But such is the form of MVG, and the form of Gerwyn Price, thatâs exactly what has happened.
We believe this still makes calling the winner of this match extremely tricky though. The reason MVG is such a great champion is because when his back is against the wall, he can deliver. This is just the sort of match MVG will go out and win.
Form suggests a win for Gerwyn Price. And he may well continue his excellent run of late. But we feel that a wager on MVG is just about worth the risk.
