Fans of Judo take heart. Judo sweeps people away during the first half of the Olympic schedule. From lighter weights to the super heavyweights, there is something for everyone. Today, we are going to look at the 100 kg. weight class on the Men's side. When it comes to 2024 Olympic Judo Bets, we have quite the class.

Ilia Sulamanidze, the slight favorite, comes in on an interesting run. He did not win the European Masters or the World Championships. However, the Georgian Judo master managed to win the World Masters event which is held only one time a year in 2022. Some suggest his form is a little suspect but the oddsmakers seem to think he will rise to the occasion.

Aaron Wolf is an even more curious story. Wolf represents Japan. He is the defending gold medalist. He comes in as the No. 2 Judoka in the current 100 kg. rankings. This is because he took some time off and had some injury issue. The 28-year old Wolf won the 2024 IJF Grand Slam at Paris and Astana events to qualify for the Paris Olympics.

Now, it will be interesting to see if the top two favorites meet. Will there be a longer shot who makes the Final? Will there be any more twists and turns? Do not worry. Olympic Judo: Ilia Sulamanidze Betting Breakdown

With the 2024 Olympic Judo Bets, it needs to be mentioned how wide open this tournament has the potential to be. Not only that, his youth could be Ilia Sulamanidze's greatest ally or betrayer. No one truly knows what will happen with the Georgian Judoka. After all, many forget he is still just 23 years old.

His tournament form in 2024 leaves much to be desired. Again, this is not like other tournaments where every judo competitor has some recent success. These are highly competitive events that often get skipped for a variety of reasons. The silver at the European Championships the past two years is a bit concerning. Yes, he won the IJF event in Baku this February but some of the top men in the division were not there.

Again, the Judoka has enjoyed rest for the past few months. Most do not realize the long hours it takes when it comes to judo. This is only the Half-Heavyweight division. These athletes train and practice for many, many hours. Also, note the times of these matches. The Olympians have to be ready early and late. The best thing for Sulamanidze is they come back hours after the preliminaries to fight for the medals (10:00 am ET or 4:00 pm Paris time).

The fact that he is still rather young creates some potential for him. Opponents have to hope his form is not quite at the top level for this tournament. If the Georgian gets things rolling early, it can be lights out. Matvey Kanikovsky cannot participate in the Olympics for he is from Russia. He would be the favorite here but alas Sulamanidze is.

2024 Olympic Wrestling Bets Like Aaron Wolf

Aaron Wolf has one of the more intriguing stories coming into the Paris Olympics. People forget that he is the 2020 defending Gold medalist at this weight class. Again, he has an American father and a Japanese mother. One could say he has the best of both worlds. The 2024 Olympic Judo Bets do wonder can Wolf surprise the world one more time.

His ability to rise up in matches on the world's stage is remarkable. One of the Judoka's best ability is his attack and ability to escape off the mat. It is why the older competitor here may have an advantage over his younger counterparts. He has been on this big stage before. Wolf understands the rigors of the one-day tournament better than most anyone. It does give him a leg up here. Surprisingly, he has a bit of room to move in the numbers too.

If there is any Judoka in this field that can take advantage of their experience, it has to be Wolf. He is not much of a reach here and feels more like a security blanket when betting. Only his lack of matches on the World Stage prevents him from not being the favorite here. Honestly, he is the best choice.

2024 Olympic Judo Bets: The 100 KG Longer Shots?

When combing through the 2024 Olympic Judo Bets, are there any 100 KG longer shots? This presents as quite the fun question. Now, the problem is some of the Judoka in the lesser tiers cannot get results against the top two or three favorites. However, all it takes is that one run. Michael Korrel and Jorge Fonseca carry some potential but again, they do seem to stumble in those bronze medal matches.

Some started to ask about Shady Elnahas and this is where some buzz gets created. Why? The two-time Pan-American games champion has the ability to take down guys like Wolf and Sulamanidze. Zelym Koltsoiev ultimately won the 2024 World Championship. However, Elnahas had his chances for a few points that would have cemented a match. The feeling is a rematch would feature a different result.

Given, Koltsoiev and Elnahas is so close as both have very good form right now. Koltsoiev is +600 on BetOnline currently. However, Elnahas carries that +1000 on BetUS which is hard to pass up.
