Week 14 NFL Picks

After suffering a Week 13 loss to the New England Patriots, the Bills are looking to stay in the hunt for the AFC East Title with a road win over the reigning-champion Bucs. They will, however, have their work cut out for them.

Tampa Bay has yet to lose at home this season and is inching closer to clinching a first-round playoff bye. They won't just roll over.

Which team should you bet on? We've got the answer to this Bucs-Bills matchup, along with NFL betting picks for a handful of other key Week 14 games.

Bucs will Remain Perfect at Home

Many bettors won't expect the Bills to lose two games in a row. That's fair. Buffalo hasn't lost consecutive games all year.

At the same time, the Bills are just 3-3 since beginning the year 4-1. Their only road victories during that stretch came against the lowly New York Jets and shorthanded New Orleans Saints.

Factor in that the Bucs are beating opponents by an average of 21.6 points when they play in Tampa Bay, and we can't bring ourselves to predict an upset.

Chiefs Keep on Rolling Against Raiders

So much for the Kansas City Chiefs being in trouble. They have won five straight games since dropping to 3-4.

Let's go ahead and make it six straight in Week 14.

Indeed, the Chiefs offense is struggling. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes just doesn't look the same. But he retains his big-play potential, and more than that, Kansas City's defense is allowing just 11.2 points per game during its win streak. The Las Vegas Raiders don't have a consistent enough offense for them to hang here.

Cowboys Seize Control of NFC East vs. WFT

Technically speaking, the NFC East title is still up for grabs. But not really.

People started contemplating the unthinkable after the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Raiders on Thanksgiving. We were not among them. Dak Prescott is still piloting one of the league's five best offenses, and Dallas gets to close out the season against wildly mediocre opponents like the Washington Football Team.

Arizona Takes Down Division Rival Rams

Acquiring Matthew Stafford to play under center hasn't gone exactly to plan for the Los Angeles Rams. They are fifth in points per game for the season, but they've been liable to suffer wild swings. Most recently, they've been held to fewer than 20 points in two of their past four games.

Division rivalry games are always harder to predict than other contests. The Rams could go off. But the Arizona Cardinals have arguably the best offense in the league, and Los Angeles' defense hasn't held up all that well when opponents get into the red zone.

Baltimore Ravens on Cleveland's Parade

Oddsmakers like to favor the home team. We get it. But the Cleveland Browns don't deserve to be favorites over the Baltimore Ravens.

Never mind that Baltimore's defense can border on suffocating. The Browns aren't getting nearly enough out of quarterback Baker Mayfield. To wit: They've scored fewer than 20 points in six of their past seven games. Their life isn't going to get any easier versus the Ravens.

To Cleveland's credit, Baltimore has been all over the place offensively. Lamar Jackson has struggled on some deeper drives in recent weeks. Overall, though, the Ravens are the more talented team—by a mile. Playing on the road doesn't change that.
