Rams vs 49ers Bets Feel Like A Coin Flip

Rams vs 49ers bets feel like a coin flip. Now, the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers appeared to both be on some shaky ground heading into Week 14. Naturally, they make everyone look foolish by winning their games in different ways. Los Angeles won one of the wildest games of the year in a 44-42 win over Buffalo. San Francisco held the Chicago Bears to 4 first half yards en route to a 38-13 rout. The scene sets the stage for some Week 15 theatrics.

While San Francisco racked up 452 yards of offense in the win, the Rams were in a shootout against the Buffalo Bills. It was a wild contest which had a bit of everything. Josh Allen passed and ran for three touchdowns each. However, Matthew Stafford and Los Angeles had the last laugh. The teams combined for over 900 yards of offense and 86 points. It was a game that figured to see higher scoring. No one could have guessed this.

Los Angeles found a way to outlast Buffalo and now are 7-6, one game behind Seattle in the NFC West. San Francisco is still lurking at two games back. The Rams and 49ers are not dominant at home (both 4-3). Any given week can mean a win or loss at home. Now, the last two meetings have been decided by a grand total of four points. In the previous four games, each team has won twice. San Francisco does not have Christian McCaffrey or Jordan Mason. However, Isaac Guerendo. So far, he has filled the void.

Certainly, Los Angeles has the passing offense when healthy. Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua can create matchup nightmares for anyone. This game likely comes down to the fourth quarter. With Los Angeles being slightly better in the red zone, they might get the upper hand by about a field goal.

Okay, So Point Taken?

Second up, Rams vs 49ers bets say so point taken on Thursday. Again, this game rolls in at a rather high 49 points. With tranquil California conditions expected, points figure to come in bunches here, right? Okay, that is a maybe. The sportsbooks may have this one pegged pretty good. The mitigating factor may be the short week. Does that impact the total any? In theory, it should. Both teams may be a little banged up. Keep an eye on the injury reports during the week.

Given the fact that San Francisco and Los Angeles both scored over 35 points last week, does anyone expect a repeat? That answer is a resounding no. How much do the points come down is the question. This game could be a 24-21 or even 24-23 type of game. Do understand that San Francisco ranks 27th in the red zone offensively yet 31st defensively. It is odd but true. The Rams are 19th and 5th inside the red zone by contrast.

These stats seem to paint San Francisco in a corner and rightfully so. San Francisco is not quite as dominant as they normally are during the second halves of seasons. Injuries and some inconsistent play have befuddled coaches, experts, bettors, and fans alike. It does spice up the lines some though. The same thing can be said for Los Angeles.

Both teams could go over 30 points but both teams can stay around 20. The thought process is around the latter. Could this be that game which combines for 45-47 points. That answer is absolutely.

A Slight Look Ahead

Okay, the Rams vs 49ers bets offer a slight look ahead. We mentioned the big 4:00 games on Sunday but what about some of the other 1:00 contests? Already, we touched on a few of them. However, there are the Jets and Jaguars from Jacksonville, Miami and Houston, and even a fun contest between Dallas and Carolina. Anything can happen in these types of games. Look at the Jets and Dolphins on Sunday, if anyone had 50+ points, they were gold as the game went for 58.

Expect some interesting twists and turns to start off Week 15. As always, follow the weather too because that often plays a role this time of year in game and team totals. Do circle back later in the week and check out the anytime touchdown props for Los Angeles and San Francisco. Do not be shocked if Guerendo goes for 2+ touchdowns again.
