While there is no mystery surrounding the No. 1 overall pick at the upcoming NFL Draft, with Cam Ward widely expected to be headed to Tennessee, no one seems to know where Shedeur Sanders will end up.

Depending on which NFL analyst you believe, the Colorado Buffaloes' quarterback, and son of Deion Sanders, could seemingly go as high as No. 2 to the Browns or fall out of the first round altogether.

What team will draft Shedeur Sanders?

The New York Giants (+275) are the favorites to select Shedeur Sanders despite signing both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in free agency. While the Cleveland Browns (+500) attended Colorado's Pro Day last week and spoke with Coach Prime, most expect them to take his teammate, Travis Hunter, with the 2nd overall pick. 

Sanders' draft position over/under is set at 8.5 with the juice towards the OVER (-200). That suggests he could slide down the board with many expressing concerns about his arrogant attitude at the Scouting Combine, and his habit of patting the ball in the pocket.

Best longshot bets

Don't be afraid to make some longshot bets on this one. Quarterbacks have a long history of slipping down the board, and no one would have predicted the Atlanta Falcons ended up with Michael Penix Jr. at this time last year. 

Picking at No. 26, the LA Rams (+1200) could use a succession plan for life after Matthew Stafford, and the Seattle Seahawks (+2200) might need a backup plan if the Sam Darnold experiment goes south.

However, our favorite dark horse is San Francisco (+6500). Sanders isn't known for having a big arm, but he's a lightning-fast processor and he set the career FBS accuracy mark (71.8%) in his two years at Colorado. That sounds a lot like Brock Purdy, who the 49ers still haven't signed.

Who will draft Ashton Jeanty?

Las Vegas (-125) is the chalk pick to draft Ashton Jeanty at No. 6 overall. New head coach Pete Carroll loves to run the rock and the Raiders had the NFL's worst rushing attack in 2024. However, that's a lot of draft capital to devote to the position in a loaded running back class.

If new GM John Spytek passes on Jeanty, Chicago (+210) could land the Boise State product at No. 10. But oddsmakers don't expect the blue-chip prospect to still be around for the Bears. His draft position over/under is set at 9.5 with heavy juice (-200) towards the UNDER.

Best longshot bets

Jerry Jones loves star power and the Dallas Cowboys (+1000) are desperate at the RB position. The 5-foot-8, 211-pounder could also have Kellen Moore salivating in New Orleans (+1300) after he saw the impact Saquon Barkley made on his Eagles offense last year. There's also the New York Jets (+1800), who are reportedly considering trading away Breece Hall to make room for Jeanty at No. 7 overall.

However, the Jaguars (+2600) are our best bet. Trevor Lawrence needs all the help he can get, and new head coach Liam Coen will want some fancy new toys to play with in Jacksonville.
