Georgia vs Oregon Bets Watched How The Two Teams Prepare

Georgia vs Oregon Bets watch how the two teams have prepared themselves for the upcoming 2023-24 campaign. So, what happened last year? That is simple. Georgia looked poised to make the tournament potentially. They were 16-10 and right there on the bubble. Then, the bottom fell out. Georgia lost six straight games to drop to .500 and they were out of the NCAA running and NIT as well.

As for Oregon, they managed to keep things together in the second half of last season. Their result was a little better as Oregon was able to make the NIT Quarterfinals. The Ducks lost to the Wisconsin Badgers by three points as they narrowly missed out on a chance to go to Madison Square Garden.

Both teams spent the entire summer getting ready for this moment. Dana Altman, now in his 14th year, has Oregon ready for their final year in the Pac-12 Conference. Meanwhile, Georgia tries to rebound while competing in the tough Southeast Conference. Mike White knows he has quite a task ahead of him as he feels he has his team ready to try and make a potential run to the NCAA Tournament.

Oregon More Ready For The New Season

The Georgia vs Oregon Bets seem to be more honed in on Oregon. Everyone talks about how the Ducks may have this team to get to the second season. for the first time since 2021. Then, it was a 21-7 Oregon squad where they got to the Sweet 16 against all odds. Since then, it has been two close calls to the NCAA Tournament but no cigar. Coach Altman hopes the third time will be the charm.

Going into the new season features more new hope. Remember, this Ducks team won six of their final eight games last season. Yes, that loss to the Badgers stung considerably. However, N'Faly Dante vowed to help get this Ducks team to the tournament in any way, shape, and form. Dante led the team averaging more than 13 points a game. Now Guards Kario Oquendo and Jesse Zarzuela expect to help Dante get to that goal.

Expectations are a little higher for Oregon this year when compared to say Georgia. The Bulldogs are projected to finish in the lower third of the Southeast Conference. Oregon finished fourth in the Pac-12 in contrast and some think a spot in the top three is very attainable. Funny enough UCLA, Arizona, and USC are very good still but Oregon can easily challenge against all of those teams. No one is saying Oregon could win the PAC-12, but it is not entirely impossible.

Simply, the biggest hurdle for Oregon may be its best ally. The Ducks schedule this year will be packed. Playing Georgia is a good tuneup but a game where the Ducks should win on Monday afternoon. They have the experience, senior leadership, and depth to be able to defeat a pretty scrappy Georgia team.

Georgia vs Oregon As The Ducks Lay 5 Points?

Okay, what about Georgia vs Oregon Bets laying 5 points? The prevailing thought is that this line is not expected to shift very much between now and Monday. That proves to be great news for fans of those backing the Ducks. Let's be honest. Oregon should win this game and with ease. Should they win by double digits? More than a few experts believe this while a few think Georgia might be able to keep this close throughout.

The Ducks will need a better perimeter effort this season. With the interior covered by Dante and company, this game should be a showcase for the two Senior guards. There is this notion that Oregon does not need to shoot 50% to win this game. Now, that is absolutely true. Georgia really may be the perfect test here as they will stay close but not too close. That is the expectation anyway.

We take on Oregon and the -5 to cover on Monday afternoon.

The Over Or Under On Monday Afternoon?

Finally, Georgia vs Oregon bets mull the over or under on Monday afternoon. This game has seen little movement early as the number has stayed right around the 140 to 141 range. Oregon averaged 70.6 points per game but more than 72 over the second half of the season. Still, is that enough to push things to the over? For now, the belief is the Under may be more in play on Monday night.
