NCAAB Women's Future Bets Love South Carolina

NCAAB Women's Future Bets love South Carolina and for good reason. So, how have the Gamecocks fared this season? Honestly, they are dead, solid perfect. South Carolina was ranked number one from the pre-season until now. The Gamecocks have played 32 games and won every single one. Was one wondering about their margin of victory? South Carolina wins its games by an average margin of 30.3 points per game.

So, the last time we saw that level were the dominant teams of Connecticut with Rebecca Lobo and then Sue Bird running the show. Coach Dawn Staley (a multiple gold-medal winning player herself) took home two national crowns already. Now, she is going for a repeat and her third title overall.

Let's attempt to take on a deeper dive with South Carolina. Can any team defeat them? At Online Sports Betting, we will get to that too below.

South Carolina Only Worried About South Carolina

The NCAAB Women's Future Bets go deep on South Carolina. South Carolina is only worried about South Carolina. So, the Gamecocks allowed 51.1 points per game and scored a whopping 81.4 per contest. There are a ton of men's teams who would dream of seeing gaudy numbers at this level. Every game South Carolina has won has been by more than one possession too. A four-point win at Connecticut was the closest they came to losing all year.

The other thing South Carolina realizes is how high the Gamecocks are when it comes to the metrics. That gets headlined by their SRS (Simple Rating System) number of 45.23. That ranks tops in the nation currently among all men's or women's teams. South Carolina plays all comers. They do not back down. For example, in the SEC tournament, the Gamecocks won by 27, 29, and 16 points respectively.

Those are so many reasons why Staley never worries about her South Carolina ladies. Few teams in the history of women's college basketball possess the balance the Gamecocks have. Tennessee comes the closest and Pat Summitt was the standard of this conference. She won eight national titles and went to 18 Final Four's. Staley has a long way to there with four Final Four's and two championships. However, this team is on the level of those late 1990's Volunteers.

Again, they are fourth in the national in points allowed at 51.1 and second in terms of defensive rating at 72.6. These are mind boggling numbers.

NCAAB Women's Future Bets The Farm On South Carolina

NCAAB Women's Future Bets the farm on South Carolina. Okay, maybe that is a slight exaggeration. However, it is tough to find value for the best team in ladies' college basketball. Thankfully, there was a little bit of a hiccup with the books, particularly Bovada. It was not much but a drop from -250 to -200 helps even slightly.

With the women playing four quarters, it may be fun to look at some game props for the Gamecocks. Spreads might be so outrageous or too crazy to fathom. For those curious, South Carolina is a 48.5-point favorite in their "Round Of 64" matchup against Norfolk State. The Over/Under is a colossal 112.5. South Carolina features three players who average double figures scoring and two who average eight or more rebounds a contest. Their 20.5 rebound margin ranks highest in the nation too.

There is a belief that South Carolina could beat Norfolk St. by 50+. It may be worth a bet at -110 for that alone. All kidding aside, teams like Stanford and Connecticut can challenge, but right now no one is. beating the Gamecocks.

What About The Contenders?

Finally, NCAAB Women's Future Bets considers the contenders. Which colleges rise up and have the best chance of challenging and maybe defeating South Carolina. Hey, anything is possible. Few thought the Gamecocks could dominate Connecticut like they did last year. Connecticut, this year, went 29-5, but was not the same after that 81-77 defeat to South Carolina. They did start to look more like themselves by the Big East Tournament.

Stanford lost to South Carolina way back in November by five points. They went 28-5 on the season but lost two of their final three games. Can they get it back together in time for the tournament? Indiana is a storybook team. The Hoosiers and Teri Moren went 27-3 but again dropped two of the final three contests. One of the long shots in all of this may just be the Iowa Hawkeyes. Granted, they give up 71+ points but led the nation at 87.5 points per game. Their offense could scare South Carolina.

Out of the contenders, going outside the box and picking Iowa is worth a small-unit wager.
