Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder (40-9) to a 140-109 victory over the Suns on Wednesday, becoming just the 9th player in NBA history to register three 50-point performances during a seven-game span.

The NBA MVP frontrunner will welcome the Raptors (16-35) to Paycom Centre on Friday night. Despite being amongst the worst five teams in the league and in prime position to draft a top prospect like Cooper Flagg, Toronto traded a 2026 1st round pick to acquire Brandon Ingram from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Let's look at the latest betting lines for the game. Odds are subject to change.

Thunders vs Raptors Betting Trends

Oklahoma City is an incredible 22-3 at home this season with a 17-7-1 record against the spread at Paycom Center. The Thunder's 40-9 overall record (.816 winning percentage) is tops in the NBA.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging a league-best 32.5 points with 5.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks. The 26-year-old Canadian is a heavy -650 favorite to win his first NBA MVP award, ahead of three-time winner Nikola Jokic (+425).

Toronto is coming off a 138-107 defeat to the Grizzlies, who are 2nd-place in the Western Conference, 6 games back of Oklahoma City. The Raptors had won six of their past seven matchups before suffering back-to-back losses against New York and Memphis.

At 16-35, Darko Rajaković's club has the 5th-worst record in the NBA. Despite their awful record, Toronto is 12-11 ATS on the road, and 11-11 ATS as a road dog.

The OVER is 15-9-1 in OKC home contests, but just 10-13 in Raptors away games.

Raptors acquire Ingram

On Wednesday, Toronto traded Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk, a 2026 first-round pick and a second-round pick to the Pelicans for Brandon Ingram. A six-foot-eight small forward, Ingram has averaged a very-respectable 23 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists in six seasons with New Orleans.

However, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 draft is known for playing soft defense and being injury prone. He's averaged just 56 games a season since his sophomore year, including only 18 in 2024-25. Ingram has been out since early December with a severe ankle sprain - but that actually qualifies as good news for a franchise that would be better off losing games down the stretch.

OKC stands pat

Thunder GM Sam Presti sat on his hands before Thursday's NBA trade deadline, choosing to move forward with a loaded roster of young, ascending players. Oklahoma City is expecting to have Chet Holmgren back in the lineup shortly. The lanky 7-foot center was averaging 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks before fracturing his pelvis early in the season.

Third-year forward Jalen Williams is also averaging career-highs in points (21.1), rebounds (5.6) and assists (5.2) per game.

Will that be enough firepower to get through Western Conference teams like the Nuggets, Grizzlies and Lakers, who just added Luka Doncic to pair with Lebron James, in the playoffs?

The Thunder are currently +250 co-favorites with the Celtics to win the NBA Championship.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Toronto Raptors NBA Picks

Can Shai Gilgeous-Alexander register his fourth 50-point effort in 8 games? Considering the Raptors have the 4th-worst defensive rating (116.0) in the NBA, the Canadian superstar may be poised to go off again.

Toronto will also be shorthanded on Friday. In addition to being without the three players they just dealt away (Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk and Davion Mitchell), RJ Barrett is currently in concussion protocol and is likely to miss his third-straight game.
