Wemby impresses at ASG

Victor Wembanyama was one of the few NBA stars to put forth an effort in the All-Star Game, registering 17 points, seven rebounds and two blocks across his two games. Playing for "Chuck's Global Stars" in the reworked format, Wemby's team lost to "Shaq's OGs" in the championship game.

"My biggest takeaway is that it's possible to give a 100 percent on that court," Wembanyama said, "to play hard, to play your a** off." That's a sentiment that all basketball fans can agree with after watching another miserable All-Star weekend.

Funnily enough, Wembanyama and teammate Chris Paul were disqualified from the NBA Skills Challenge on Saturday after trying to "hack" the event by finding a loophole.

De'Aaron Fox's early impact

De'Aaron Fox has scored at least 22 points in four of his five games since being traded to San Antonio. The 27-year-old point guard is averaging 21.6 points, 7.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals. The Spurs are 2-3 with Fox in the lineup, but his chemistry should only continue to build with Wemby.

Phoenix is 1-6 in the month of February. Kevin Durant reportedly turned down a trade to the Warriors at the deadline, but is expected to be moved in the offseason. Averaging 27.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists, KD is just the seventh player in NBA history to be voted to 15 All-Star Games.
