Warriors vs Rockets Betting Trends
To say that the Warriors have dominated this series would be some kind of understatement. Golden State is 15-0 straight up in the last 15 games against Houston. The Rockets haven't beaten the Warriors since March 17, 2021. At Houston, the Warriors are 8-0 SU in their last eight visits. Houston's most recent home-court triumph over Golden State was on Nov. 6, 2019.
When it comes to covering, the Warriors are 7-1 against the spread in the last eight games facing the Rockets. Golden State is also 7-1 ATS in the last seven meetings with the Rockets at Houston.
Overall, the Warriors are just 2-6 SU in their last eight games. Golden State is 4-2 ATS through the past six, however. The Warriors are 7-1 SU in the last eight games against Southwest Division clubs.
The Rockets are 11-4 SU in their past 15 games. Houston is 11-3 ATS through the last 14 games. The Rockets are also 8-1 ATS in their last nine road games. Houston is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 games facing Pacific Division opponents.
Three of the last four Houston vs Golden State games have gone over. Taken a bit further back, though, only three of the last eight went over. The over is 3-2 in the past five games between the two teams played at Houston.
Five of Golden State's last six games have gone under, as have each of the last five road games played by the Warriors. Also, eight of the last nine Golden State games facing Western Conference opposition also hit on the over.
Four of Houston's last five games vs teams from the West hit on the over. Overall, five of the last six games played by the Rockets went over.
The NBA picks show Houston as 9-4 SU when the betting favorite. The Rockets are 7-4 ATS at home. Golden State is 7-5 ATS on the road. The Warriors are 4-3 SU as the underdog in the betting line.
Warriors Counting On Wiggins
Golden State all-star small forward Andrew Wiggins was out Sunday against Minnesota due to a right ankle impingement. Though he's listed as questionable on the Warriors injury report, Golden State coach Steve Kerr was hinting that Wiggins will be playing in this game.
Andrew Wiggins: 2022 (All-Star Year) VS 2025 (this season)
2022 2025
17.2 PPG 17.2
4.5 RPG 4.4
2.2 APG 2.3

Only shooting guard Moses Moody (left knee) has been ruled out for Golden State. By moving Wiggins into the starting lineup, it allows the Warriors to drop veteran power forward Draymond Green to the bench, improving both the depth and versatility of Golden State's rotation.
Rockets Getting Eason Back
There's also some good news on the injury front in Houston. Power forward Tari Eason, out the past two games while in concussion protocol, has been cleared to play. His return improves the defensive abilities of the Rockets.
Rockets center Alperen Sengun is a developing NBA superstar. He's averaging 18.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
Houston shooting guard Jalen Green is holding the hot hand. Over the last five games he's averaging 24.6 points. Green is shooting 47.4% from the field and 44.1% from beyond the arc.
Rockets center Steven Adams (right knee) is listed as questionable for this game.
Golden State vs Houston NBA Picks
As much as this game is about advancing in the NBA Cup, it's also holding significant bearing on the Western Conference standings. Golden State is just one behind Houston in the loss column.
The Warriors are responsible for 25% of Houston's eight losses this season. As much as Golden State coach Steve Kerr refers to their long win streak over the Rockets as random, the fact of the matter is that the last time Houston won at home against Golden State, nobody had ever heard of COVID-19.
Until that situation changes, you ride with the winning horse. Go with the Warriors to cover against the Rockets in the Wednesday NBA picks.
