All-Star Weekend

Jayson Tatum scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the NBA’s first-ever All-Star tournament. The 26-year-old almost secured his second All-Star Game MVP in the past years, tallying a team-high 15 points in the championship game for Team Shaq. However, Stephen Curry got the nod after draining four threes in the championship round in front of his home crowd.

Jaylen Brown also made his 4th All-Star appearance for the Celtics, while no 76ers attended the event.

Disaster Sixers season

Joel Embiid has played in only 17 games this season and missed 37. The 7-footer is averaging almost 10 fewer points per game than last season (24.9 vs 34.7) with career-lows in rebounds (8.5) and FG % (45.5).

Paul George has missed 19 games this year, and is averaging his lowest points-per-game total (16.1) since 2011-12.
