NBA Picks: Bucks and Raptors to Pull Off Upsets, But Will Anyone Else?

Eight games are on the NBA's Wednesday night schedule. We have predictions for every single one.

Please bear in mind that single-game picks are different from NBA Finals betting predictionsWe're not trying to account for bigger-picture developments. We care only about the Wednesday night games themselves and any factors that may impact the outcome of them.

Raptors will Get Big Road Win Over Celtics

To be honest, we don't get why the Celtics are favorites.

Yes, they're at home. But their offense has been a disaster, and they won't have Jaylen Brown in the lineup. Meanwhile, the Raptors have been perking up and will have Pascal Siakam in the rotation. Step out on this limb with us.

OSB Prediction: Toront Raptors (+115)

Bucks Snag Victory over the Knicks

The Bucks just barely beat the shorthanded Sixers on Tuesday night, so we get why they're the underdogs. But the Knicks' defense has been a nightmare and they're currently going through a slump from beyond the arc.

Couple this with the fact Milwaukee has Jrue Holiday back in the fold, and we love their chances.

OSB Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks (+100)

Washington Guts Out Win vs. Cleveland

Nobody should be sleeping on the Cavaliers anymore. They're above .500 after playing out one of the NBA's five toughest schedules.

Still, their offense has been less than stellar, and they just lost Collin Sexton to a torn meniscus. Given how well the Wizards are defending this season, they should have a fairly strong hold on the outcome of this game.

OSB Prediction: Washington Wizards (-115)

Brooklyn Gets Back on Track Against Orlando

Few teams have been as disappointing to start the season as the Nets. Their offense has underachieved, and James Harden looks like a shell of his former self.

Fortunately for Brooklyn, Orlando is light on NBA-caliber players outside their starting five. The Nets should be able to scoop up a win going away.

Charlotte May Shock Memphis

Giving the Grizzlies such heavy favorite status is risky in our eyes. Their defense has been just as bad as the Hornets', and Ja Morant's co-star, Jaren Jackson Jr., continues to be one of the NBA's wildest roller coasters.

Playing at home gives them an edge. At the same time, we like Charlotte's capacity to catch them off-guard with smaller lineups. We're rolling the dice on them.

OSB Prediction: Charlotte Hornets (+165)

Chicago Should Take Down Dallas

The Bulls are a tough pull for the not-so-great Mavericks. Chicago is among the best in the league at forcing turnovers, and Dallas has so far struggled to cobble together an efficient offense.

With Luka Doncic in tow, the Mavericks always have a chance. But their early-season struggles are concerning. The Bulls have to be the pick.

OSB Prediction: Chicago Bulls (-155)

Sacramento Hands San Antonio Another Loss

De'Aaron Fox's slow start to the season looks like it might finally be behind him. That's great news for the Kings. Harrison Barnes and Buddy Hield are already playing some of the best basketball of their careers, and Richaun Holmes remains a dream in the middle. If Fox plays well, this team is a viable playoff threat.

San Antonio, meanwhile, has yet to find its offensive groove in the half-court. They play fast and are built to disrupt on defense, but we can't rationally take them when they're an underdog that doesn't pay out better than even money.

OSB Prediction: Sacramento Kings (-115)

Golden State Decimates Minnesota

Godspeed to anyone prepared to pick the Timberwolves in this one. Their offense has been an unmitigated disaster, and they're going up against a Warriors defense that ranks first in points allowed per possession.

Failing a complete implosion from Golden State's offense, this game shouldn't even be kind of close.

OSB Prediction: Golden State Warriors (-300)
