Pacers vs Grizzlies Betting Trends

Memphis is a -1.5-point road favorite over the Pacers on Thursday night. The Grizzlies are 15-12 away from home, and 17-10 against the spread - the 3rd-best mark in the league. Taylor Jenkins' club is also 8-3 as a road favorite.

Indiana is 14-8 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse with a 10-12-1 ATS record. As a home dog, they're just 2-4 this season.

The over/under for Thursday's matchup is a sky-high 249.5 points. The OVER is 15-8 in Pacers home games in 2024-25, and 21-6 in Memphis road contests - that's the highest mark in the NBA.

The Grizzlies are 7-3 in their past 10 games, with a 16-4 out-of-conference record. Indiana has a 12-7 mark against Western Conference opponents, and is 6-4 in its past 10 games.

All-Star Weekend

Pascal Siakam wasn't a fan of the new All-Star Game format that saw four teams of eight players play three games to 40 points. "A lot of sitting around," Siakam said after registering 4 points, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 rebound for Team Chuck in two games. "It's hard to get (a flow going). I don't know. I thought it was fun."

While Siakam was the only Pacer at All-Star Weekend, the Grizzlies had three players competing at various events.  Jaren Jackson lost to Siakam and Team Chuck in the All-Star Game semifinal, putting up 4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks.

Memphis rookies Jaylen Wells and Zach Edey played in the NBA Rising Stars Game, but made a minimal impact on limited minutes.

Second half surges ahead?

Indiana rebounded from a rough 10-15 start to the season and now own the No. 4 seed in the East. The Pacers also defeated the Celtics (twice) and the Cavaliers, so there is hope they can follow up last year's Eastern Conference Finals appearance.

Memphis has won 11 of its past 14 games overall, but they're only 13-15 against clubs above .500. Rumors are swirling that the Grizzlies will trade star guard Ja Morant if they flame out in the playoffs. Morant is averaging 20.7 points and 7.4 assists across 32 games this season.

Indiana Pacers vs Memphis Grizzlies NBA Picks

The Pacers lost three of five games heading into the All-Star break, but they're a strong home team, and Memphis has struggled against opponents with winning records. We'll take the Indiana money line (+102) with the OVER  249.5.
