The Grizzlies will look to rebound against a Suns team sitting in 9th place in the West. Phoenix (26-26) fell 122-105 at home to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night, but Kevin Durant is expected to return on Tuesday night after missing three games.

Let's look at the latest betting lines for the game. Odds are subject to change.

Suns vs Grizzlies Betting Trends

Memphis is an impressive 14-11 away from home this season with a 16-9 record against the spread. With a 35-17 overall record (.673 winning percentage), the Grizzlies sit in second place in the Western Conference, 1.5 games ahead of the Denver Nuggets.

In danger of falling out of playoff contention, Phoenix was in a 9th-place tie with the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors entering Monday night's action. The Suns are a miserable 8-17-1 ATS at home, and 3-3 ATS as a home underdog.

The OVER is 33-19 in all Grizzlies games - the second highest mark in the NBA. The OVER is also a league-best 20-5 when Memphis is playing on the road. However, the OVER is just 9-17 when Phoenix is playing at Footprint Center.

Durant sticks around

There were plenty of trade rumors swirling around Kevin Durant before last Thursday's NBA trade deadline. The 36-year-old superstar apparently signed off on a trade to the Miami Heat, who were unwilling to pay the Suns' high asking price. Golden State also reportedly had a deal in place to bring Durant back to the Bay Area before he nixed it.

While Durant ended up staying put in Phoenix for now, the latest rumors have the Minnesota Timberwolves making a push for KD in the offseason to pair him with Anthony Edwards.

Durant has missed three consecutive contests with a left ankle sprain suffered last Monday in Portland. Suns coach Mike Budenholzer called it a "very short term injury" and it looks like he's ready to return on Tuesday night.

Ja Morant struggling

Jaren Jackson is leading the Grizzlies with 23.3 points per game to go along with 6 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.3 steals.  The Grizzlies power forward had 38 points and 12 boards in a 117-112 victory over Phoenix on Dec 31.

Ja Morant missed that contest with a sprained shoulder. The superstar point guard's scoring is way down this season. He's averaging 20.5 PPG versus the career-high 27.4 PPG he put up in the 2021-22 season. Morant's 44.8 field goal percentage is a career low.

Morant's father, Tee, was ejected from Memphis' 122-107 loss to the Thunder on Saturday night after repeatedly bad mouthing the referees.

Even with Kevin Durant back in the lineup, we like Memphis to cover the spread on the road (-2.0) with the OVER 239 (-110).
