Boston Celtics
The team boasts the best record in basketball at 57-14, a full 10 games better than the second place Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference.Ā They even have 7 more wins than the Nuggets, who are currently leading the Western Conference.Ā
The Boston Celtics have clinched the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
They have 11 games left to play.
It's the 3rd time since 1988 they've done it (2008, 2017).
The Celtics were the top seed in the East eight times in nine years from 1980-88.

Everything seems to be clicking for the Celtics in the regular season. So much so, that many are overlooking the regular season performance and focusing on the potential playoff path for the Celtics.
The team's success will heavily rely on keeping Kristaps Porzingis injury-free and effectively integrating these new additions.
Past playoff performances highlight legitimate concerns about depth in Boston following the departure of several crucial role players.
Despite having a talented rotation, maximizing this roster's potential will require skillful management from second-year coach Joe Mazzulla.

Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets have been able to maintain the course as the defending champions. Currently boasting the top record in the Western Conference despite the injuries the team has overcome has been impressive.
Led by another impressive campaign by Nikola Jokic, currently the favorite for his 3rd NBA MVP, the Nuggets have remained the team to beat in the NBA.

The West has only a 9 game difference between the top seed Nuggets and the 8th seed Mavs. It's been very competitive this season in the Western Conference.
However, The Nuggets are coming off their first NBA Championship victory and should probably be the favorites again.
I don't understand why the Celtics have better odds than the Nuggets, and would definitely recommend betting on the Nuggets to win the title at +320 odds.
Los Angeles Clippers
The LA Clippers are suddenly emerging as formidable title contenders.
This team boasts elite talent, like Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, yet injuries have plagued their postseason performances.
The 2020 NBA playoffs marked the only time both stars were healthy for a full playoff run with the Clippers. Despite making the Western Conference Finals in 2021, they had to navigate without Leonard due to injury.
Unfortunately, Leonard missed the entire 2021-22 season due to the same injury.
Last season, George was sidelined for the entire postseason, and Leonard only managed to play two games.
With James Harden in the mix, the Clippers present a formidable force, provided they can stay healthy. This potential lineup suggests a contender we've yet to witness in a playoff scenario.
Milwaukee Bucks
Milwaukee's journey with Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo coming together has been a blend of successes and challenges.
After a midseason slump the team decided to part ways with head coach Adrian Griffin to hire Doc Rivers. Rivers was already a consultant on the Bucks staff so he was familiar with the roster.
Doc Rivers has had a ton of very talented teams that fell short in the playoffs. He does not have the best track record when it comes to playoff performance.
However, the Bucks believed he was the right coach for the situation they have in Milwaukee. He has a 14-11 record and seems to have steadied the ship.

While it doesn't appear that the Bucks are on the same level as the Celtics and Nuggets, it's difficult to count them out.
They will still be able to send out Giannis, Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton together for a playoff series, which would be very difficult for any team to defend.
The odds for the Bucks are very favorable at +750. That is much lower than earlier this season and would be a sweet-spot if you're interested in backing them this year.
