Race Preview
William Byron (+900)
How can you ignore this guy? Byron is on an absolute heater right now, coming in top spot in Las Vegas and Phoenix, both in overtime. That appears to come at the perfect time considering he won this exact race last March and led for over 100 laps. Byron is dripping with confidence. Could he really win another? It's very possible, especially because Chase Elliott is injured and his co-favorite, Kyle Larson, doesn't typically do well on speedways. That leads to the next point.
Kyle Larson (+900)
Larson has never won Atlanta but does come into Sunday in solid form, securing fourth place in Phoenix before finishing as runner-up in Vegas. In fact, out of six total races, he's finished in the top-10 four times. Larson is definitely driving well right now. However, his lack of success in Georgia makes it difficult to pick him.
Ross Chastain (+1200)
Chastain has a very good track record at Atlanta. In two races in 2022, he finished as runner-up in both. It feels like only a matter of time until he actually wins here. Plus, Chevrolet cars tend to do well in Atlanta. Chastain has two top 10 finishes so far this season, locking down ninth at Daytona 500 and third spot in California. Definitely some value in +1200 with Chastain.
Ryan Blaney (+1200)
After a pair of dismal performances, Blaney came out in Phoenix and made a loud statement, finishing in second place. That was his best race to date in 2023 and gives him lots of momentum for Sunday's race. Also, he's enjoyed success in Atlanta before, winning in 2021 and securing two top-10 finishes on this track since the 2021 season. Keep an eye on Blaney.
Alex Bowman (+2000)
This is a guy that you cannot sleep on come Sunday for one reason: He's the only driver to finish in the top 10 in all four races of the campaign. Ninth in Phoenix, third in Vegas, eighth in California, and fifth at Daytona. That is definitely impressive. Hendrick Motorsports won both races in Atlanta in 2022 as well, which happens to be his manufacturer. At +2000, it's worth a bet. Why not?
Ambetter Health 400 Picks
Personally, I'd make a few different bets here. Byron at +900 is a must because of how red-hot he is. Also, I'd throw a bit of money down on Bowman. Lastly, Chastain. He's been too good at Atlanta to ignore.
