Following an exciting finish at the Quaker State 400 last weekend, we now look ahead to the Ambetter 301 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday. This will be the 20th race of the season thus far, with Chase Elliott still sitting atop the standings after finishing in first place in his home state of Georgia this past Sunday. However, he is not the favorite this time around, with Ryan Blaney owning the shortest odds for the race. Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, and Denny Hamlin are co-favorites alongside Blaney here, while Elliott has the sixth-best odds to win. Keep reading for the NASCAR Ambetter 301 picks.

Can Blaney get it done?
Ryan Blaney has been racing very well lately and has finished within the top five in three of his last five appearances. Blaney secured a fifth-place finish in Atlanta last weekend at the Quaker State 400 which earned him another 46 points. He currently trails Elliott by 47 points in the NASCAR standings. The Ford driver does typically impress at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway too, finishing top five twice in his last three races on this track. Blaney needs a victory badly and given his recent form, it may just come this weekend.
Joey Logano at home
Another Ford driver in Joey Logano is sitting in seventh spot in the standings but there is reason to keep an eye on him here. Logano has the second-best odds to win in the NASCAR Ambetter 301 picks at +700 and he actually hails from New England, which means this will be a bit of a homecoming for him. He's extremely familiar with this track and typically puts his best foot forward at the NHMS. In 23 career starts here, Logano has earned top-five finishes on eight different occasions. It's also important to note that Logano is just one of several drivers who have won three races this season. He's taken home first place at The Clash at the L.A. Coliseum, Darlington Raceway and World Wide Technology Raceway. Logano has also won on this track in 2009 and 2014. He could be the pick in best betting strategies.
Kevin Harvick historically good at Ambetter 301
Kevin Harvick is outside of the top-10 in the NASCAR points table and is a longshot of +1600 for the Ambetter 301. However, he did win this race in back-to-back years in 2018 and 19', which is certainly something worth keeping eye on. Harvick has finished in 12th, 10th, and 10th in his last three races but he is one of the most experienced drivers on the circuit.
Kyle Busch worth a bet?
Busch is a two-time champion at Ambetter 301 and he does have pretty solid odds here. However, his recent form is not a good sign. The veteran finished in the bottom half in each of the past four races. When it comes to this particular race, Busch has ended in 37th and 38th in the last two years. Not exactly great.
Denny Hamlin in the mix
Hamlin is one of the more decorated drivers in NASCAR but he's been racing very poorly lately as well. He's 19th in the standings and finished in 25th place at Quaker State 400 in Atlanta. In fact, Hamlin owns just one top-10 finish in his last five races. That being said, he is a two-time winner at NHMS, with the last coming in 2017. It feels like it's only a matter of time until Hamlin puts together one of his best performances of the season and perhaps it'll be on a track he's enjoyed success before. That's clearly what the sportsbooks are thinking.
Martin Truex Jr. can't be counted out
It's interesting why Martin Truex Jr. has such favorable odds in the NASCAR Ambetter 301 picks and odds. He's yet to win a race this season and landed in the top five only twice. Truex has never won at New Hampshire but he's finished within the top-10 in four of his last five races at the track. Perhaps the books believe he could finally come through and notch a victory this time around. He's currently sixth in the points standings.
Final Pick
Yes, it's rare to not discuss Chase Elliott. But, a driver winning back-to-back races is practically unheard of. Someone else will be in the spotlight on Sunday. I think it will be Joey Logano. He will be feeling very comfortable close to home and has been racing very well lately.
NASCAR Ambetter 301 picks: Joey Logano to win.
