- What: NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400
- When: Saturday, August 24, 7:30 p.m. ET

The unpredictability of NASCAR restrictor plate racing is reflected in the betting lines for this week's Coke Zero Sugar 400. As the drivers prepare for the wild and woolly adventure that going all-out on the 2.5-mile oval at Daytona International Speedway does create, oddsmakers are equally all over the board.
Bovada is setting Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski as the +1000 co-favorites. Meanwhile, MyBookie is going with Joey Logano as the +860 chalk to take the checkered flag. At Betonline, their betting line likes Hamlin at +1000 to win the race.

There's only two more races left for the drivers to earn one of the 16 available spots in the NASCAR playoffs, so expect the racing to be intense. Tyler Reddick is now the regular-season points leader following his win last week in the Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. However, oddsmakers aren't liking his chances on the super speedway at Daytona. You can get odds of anywhere from +1800 to +2000 on Reddick in the NASCAR betting lines.

NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Picks
The drivers will cover 160 laps to complete the 400 miles of this race. The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is divided into three stages of 30, 60 and 65 laps.
Before we take a look at the top contenders and get into the analysis and predictions for this race, check out our how-to bet on NASCAR page.
Denny Hamlin (+1000)
While watching Reddick win at MIS for the race team he owns, Hamlin was admitting to allowing his own impatience to get the better of him. It led to a late-race spin that dropped the No. 11 Toyota out of contention and into a ninth-place finish.
Hamlin has never won this race. He finished 11th last year.
Brad Keselowski (+1000)
Keselowski drove his Ford to victory in this race in 2016. He finished second last year.
Overall, though, Daytona has been unkind to him. He's been outside the top 30 in five of the past seven Coke Zero Sugar 400s.
Joey Logano (+1200)
Another Ford driver, Team Penske's Logano ran fifth in the 2023 Coke Zero Sugar 400. However, that was his first top-10 finish in the race in nine years.
Logano has never won this race.
Ryan Blaney (+1400)
Blaney took his Ford to the winner's circle in the 2021 Coke Zero Sugar 400. He's had five top-1o finishes in his last seven Daytona races.
Blaney is also a survivor, which is huge factor in his favor during the havoc of restrictor plate racing. He shows just one crash over those past seven Daytona starts.
William Byron (+1600)
The Henrick Motorsports driver is the top Chevrolet contender on the odds board. He was the Daytona 500 winner on this same track in February.
Byron won the Coke Zero Sugar 400 in 2020. He was eighth in this race last year and also fashioned a second-place finish here in 2019, the same year he won the pole position for the Daytona 500.
Chris Buescher (+1600)
The reigning champion in this race, Buescher is currently 12th in the NASCAR Cup point standings. Still, he doesn't have a win this season.
A win would clinch his playoff place and assure the Buescher needn't fear slipping out of the top 16 over the next two weeks.
Best NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400 Prop Bets
Chevrolet has won three of the past five Coke Zero Sugar 400 races. BetUS is offering +170 odds that a Chevy will win this year's race.
Bovada is providing an intriguing prop wager that William Byron will finish as the top Chevrolet driver, with Tyler Reddick as the No. 1 Toyota finisher and Ryan Blaney driving the first Ford across the finish line. The odds of all of this coming to be are set at +22000, which would create a healthy payday on a winning wager.
NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400 Pick
Reddick was second here last year and has finished sixth or better in seven successive races. However, this isn't a track that's kind to Toyota. The manufacturer has one win in this race since 2009.
Bubba Wallace sits precariously in the 16th playoff spot, and really could use a win to cinch his postseason place. Unfortunately, he's also driving a Toyota.
Buescher won last year, but there hasn't been a back-to-back winner in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 since Tony Stewart in 2005-06.
Since anything tends to happen at Daytona, we're going to go a little off the board with our pick. Alex Bowman has driven to top-seven finishes in three of the last six Daytona races. We're going with the driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet at +1975 odds as our pick to win the Coke Zero Sugar 400.
