- What: NASCAR Food City 500 Race
- When: April 13, 2025
- Time: 3:30 p.m. PST
- Where: Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, TN)
After an exhilarating weekend at Darlington Raceway, the NASCAR Cup Series is set to make its way to The Last Great Colosseum.
Bristol Motor Speedway will be the grand venue for the highly anticipated Food City 500.
The Food City 500 race will be the ninth 2025 NASCAR Cup Series event this season. This race is among the two scheduled at this venue this season, with a total distance of 266.5 miles across the concrete oval.
Drivers will tackle a total of 500 laps, divided into three stages: the first two stages will each consist of 125 laps, while the final stage will cover 250 laps.
Rusty Wallace is the record holder for the most victories here, having won six times.

Food City 500 Odds
Denny Hamlin
Denny Hamlin is on a roll, having secured back-to-back victories at Martinsville and Darlington. This weekend looks promising for the No. 11 team, especially since they triumphed during last spring's race at Bristol.
On the other hand, Denny Hamlin has turned his season around after a lengthy winless streak, first clinching a victory at Martinsville.
He's riding high, having won consecutive races, including a triumph at Darlington this past weekend.

Bristol is another fantastic venue for Hamlin and the No. 11 team. The seasoned driver has claimed victory there four times and has won two of his last three races at The Last Great Coliseum.
It will be exciting to see if he can add another win to his tally in 2025. I would pass on Hamlin winning this one at the price of +400.
Kyle Larson
Meanwhile, Kyle Larson is also looking strong, having clinched victory in the renowned Bass Pro Shops Night Race last September at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Kyle Larson is widely regarded as one of the top drivers in the world, but his performance at Darlington last weekend told a different story.
It was a challenging day for Larson, culminating in a P37 finish after a late spin devastated his race.

Throughout his career in the NASCAR Cup Series, Larson has secured two victories at Bristol.
He celebrated in Victory Lane the last time he raced at this short track, so there's a good chance the Hendrick Motorsports driver could achieve back-to-back wins at The Last Great Coliseum.
Larson's odds aren't as favorable as other drivers in this field, so I would pass on him to win this as well.

Christopher Bell
Christopher Bell has secured three victories this season and has demonstrated remarkable consistency in recent weeks despite not returning to Victory Lane.
He achieved another podium finish at Darlington, finishing third in South Carolina.
As the Cup Series heads to Bristol this weekend, Bell is still seeking his first win at The Last Great Coliseum.
However, he has performed well in his last few appearances in Tennessee, earning four consecutive top-ten finishes over the past two seasons.
Bell is my favorite pick in this race. He's got enough experience at the track and has been racing well this year. Take the +550 odds as the best bet in this one.
Chase Elliott
Chase Elliott has been vocal about his thoughts on the future of throwback weekend at Darlington in recent days, and when it came time to race, he put in a solid performance.
The Hendrick Motorsports driver secured an important top ten finish, crossing the line in P8.

As he aims for his first victory of the season, Bristol stands out as one of Elliott's strongest tracks, having won at The Last Great Coliseum back in July 2020.
It will be interesting to see if he can clinch another win with a full crowd cheering him on this time around. The odds are tempting to back Elliott in this one, but I'd pass on this as well.
Ty Gibbs
Meanwhile, Ty Gibbs also achieved a crucial top ten finish at Darlington, ending the race in P9. It's been a challenging season for the Joe Gibbs Racing driver, but his performance in South Carolina might signal a turning point.
As the Cup Series heads to Bristol, many consider it Gibbs' best non-road course.
Last spring he showed promise, coming close to having the fastest car before tire issues slowed him down.
A win here could certainly help alleviate some of the early struggles he's faced in 2025.
