The 26th and final race of the NASCAR Cup Series season, the Coke Zero Sugar 400, takes place on Saturday at the legendary Daytona Superspeedway in Florida. It couldn't be a more fitting ending before the playoffs. Kyle Larson took home first place last weekend at the Glen, just edging out Chase Elliott and A.J. Allmendinger. Elliott has already clinched the regular season Cup Series title though, regardless of the outcome this weekend. Heading into Daytona Beach, Elliott is the frontrunner at +1000, followed by Denny Hamlin, Larson, and Ryan Blaney all sitting at +1200 odds. Keep reading for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 picks.

Coke Zero Sugar 400 Betting Preview
Chase Elliott has never won this race. But, given his recent form, it's no surprise he's a frontrunner to finish the season off with a bang. Although he was beaten by his fellow Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson last weekend, it was close. Elliott ultimately finished in fourth spot, his seventh top-five placing in the last nine races. Elliott also had a run where he was in either first or second in five straight appearances. That definitely helped him shoot up the standings. Can he outduel Larson this time around? We'll have to see. Elliott also has absolutely nothing to lose on Saturday since he's already locked up the regular season title.
It's understandable why Denny Hamlin sits at +1200. He's enjoyed success on this speedway, winning Daytona 500 in three of the last seven years. No, he's never won this race, but he could be worth a shot in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 picks. Hamlin has two wins to his name in 2022 at Richmond and Charlotte, also finishing within the top five in two of the last three races. He may not take home top spot here, but Hamlin's current form paired with his past performances at Daytona could mean at least a respectable finish.
Larson simply can't be counted out. After all, he performed extremely well last weekend. He's all the way up to second in the standings and now has two wins and 10 top-five finishes this season, which is tied for the most with his teammate, Chase Elliott. There is no doubt Larson is in good form right now and while he's never won at Daytona, he is a decent driver on speedways.
Austin Cindric isn't exactly a huge name, but there is a reason he could offer value at +1600. He was the winner of Daytona 500 in February. That alone makes him a contender here. Also, Bubba Wallace at +1800. He needs a win to advance to the playoffs, but he finished as a runner-up to Cindric earlier in the year on this track and even had four straight top-10 finishes between New Hampshire and Michigan this summer. He also came in second in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 in 2021.
Coke Zero Sugar 400 Picks
There's a few picks worth a bet for Saturday. First, you might as well sprinkle some money on Chase Elliott to win the final race of the regular season. He's truly been that good and as previously mentioned, has nothing left to prove. He can just go for it all.
Also, Hamlin is just historically brilliant at Daytona. I'm almost certain that will result in a respectable finish, preferably in the top-five. Also, Wallace clearly loves driving on this speedway. I don't think he'll come awat with the victory he needs, but the driver will at least end up in the top-10. Lastly, take Cindric, the rookie, to also put his best foot forward and make a statement.
