Hey MotoGP fans, this week we are not looking at a race. Instead, we have OnlineSportsBetting best bets for some season matchups, thanks to BetOnline.
MotoGP Season Bets As Quartararo Leads Title Chase
Grand Prix season takes the week off. MotoGP Season Bets as Quartararo leads title chase has grown a bit more fascinating. Let's put ourselves into MotoGP online betting mode.
Though this year's schedule has kept us on our toes, we're quite interested in MotoGP Season Matchups Bets and whether we can take a few shots at gaining some value. But before we do anything else, let us first have a peek at the latest 2022 MotoGP Matchup numers for some of the top riders heading into the next race from Austria on August 21st.
While hunting for good wagers, also check out our UFC betting online. To keep things simple: Betting Usman seems like a very wise move. Now, let us try and get back to the MotoGP race at hand.
The amount of DNF's when betting on MotoGP races has created its own chaos. Make sure you are checking and rechecking how qualifying goes. Finally, the weather starts changing as the Summer months transition into the Fall. These courses, especially in the Far East, can have anything from monsoons and worse. Expect the unexpected.
And last but not least, do browse through our reviews of the best online sportsbooks. They will get you ready along with your prime MotoGP betting sites in 2022.
MotoGP Season Bets - Matchup Mode
Here is that fun wrinkle for bettors again. Sometimes, it is just not enough to bet on the race or the overall futures. Now, MotoGP Best Bets offer even more options within the race and title chase. For example, which racer is going to finish in the better position. That is the epitome of matchup mode.
This time, there is no "The Field" option for those that want to wager against the current favorite. The rest week means our numbers are based on who will finish with more points in the world title race. That part, at least, is pretty straightforward. The challenge is figuring out which racers will gain or lose during the final eight races of the 2022 MotoGP season.
MotoGP Season Bets - Francesco Bagnaia Over Quartararo
Alas, this is a classic hedge risk taken, but Francesco Bagnaia at +200 is alluring enough to bet a small amount over Fabio Quartararo". Why? If one remembers earlier in the season, we were able to get Quartararo over the field at +160, that number has dove back into the negative, albeit slightly. This is all about taking advantage of the value. No one said it would be easy.
Also, consider that Bagnaia is on a heater right now. The Italian Ducati rider has won consecutive races and has the speed to finish well at Red Bull Ring in Austria on the 21st. Keep in mind, he has pulled to within 49 points of Quartararo. Eight races is a lot of time as despite better fortune, Bagnaia still carries good plus-money possibilities. Our pick is to risk it with Francesco Bagnaia in the Moto GP Season Bets.
Francesco Bagnaia Over Aleix Espargaro For Even More Dollars
Placing a wager on Francesco Bagnaia over Aleix Espargaro is a bit dicey as well. One would think that Espargaro would be more apt to hold off the Italian. However, the books are starting to disagree quickly. What looked like more of a sure thing a month ago appears to be far from the case now.
Bagnaia has gained quite a bit on the Spanish rider, and there are some pundits who feel that could be the harbinger of a catch before they even get to the Far East portion of the schedule. With just three races before Japan, there is a slight chance that the Italian could achieve second place in the season standings.
If there is a chance to tie both of these bets into a parlay or even a future of Bagnaia winning the title outright, then take a look. For what it is worth, Bagnaia's future stands around +300. That is shorter than Espargaro currently (around +400). One aspect of the betting market has not caught up yet.
Enea Bastianini Over Aleix Espargaro In MotoGP Season Bets
This will be another dangerous but sneaky wager in MotoGP Season Bets. Picking Enea Bastianini over Aleix Espargaro seems crazy but consider that Bastianini is only 13 points behind countryman Francesco Bagnaia and just 40 away from Espargaro himself. Again, time is still on this Italian's side as well.
Whether it rains or not matters little. Bastianini has tested well at two of the next three tracks - especially Austria. It would not take all that much for the rider to start hauling in points. Espargaro's ninth raised some red flags. His Aprilia Racing Team gave him a bike that carried some rust from the long break. The speed wasn't there, and this happened earlier in the season too.
If the Italian riders take fewer risks, they will be in a better position. They have been here before where Espargaro has not even sniffed a title chase. This may be the time to toss some dinner money on Bastianini to hop into third past the Spaniard. After all, those Ducati's, especially Bastianini's showed a lot of strength. Finally, there was that first race of the season where the Italian floored it to victory.
