OSB The Little Marquez To Upset Field In Germany

The MotoGP riders travel from the Netherlands to the Saxony region of Germany for this weekend's race. Yes, the Grand Prix of Germany takes place on Sunday from Sachsenring. Betting knows the contenders have a leg up in the Sprint but the Sunday races could feature a different result. We spotlight several 2024 MotoGP Germany Picks worth taking that are a little outside the normal contenders.

  • What: Grand Prix of Germany
  • When: Sunday, July 7 at 8:00 am EDT
  • Where:  Sachsenring - Saxony Region of Germany

So after eight races, we have still only seen three different winners. Francesco Bagnaia leads the way with five wins. Jorge Martin has done well in the sprints again and has two triumphs. Maverick Vinales took one race. At Online Sports Betting, check the weather too as between now and Sunday, things can always change. Germany has been dominated by Spanish drivers since what feels like the late 2000's. Anyhow, here lies our table below.

Germany Makes For Strange Bedfellows

Germany makes for strange bedfellows with the 2024 MotoGP Germany Picks. Now, Jorge Martin needs to be considered as he won the race at Sachsenring pretty handily in 2023. However, Marc Marquez did win eight straight races at one point. Again, this is why the contenders are so short compared to the longer shots. These numbers get way more pronounced on a track like this. That keeps betting on MotoGP Online honest and adds some enticing numbers.

Sachsenring is far from the longest course but is famous for its Omega turns and named turns like the Coke-Cola Curve, etc. There is the one longer straightaway and a couple of key passing zones. However, it is only a 3.671-kilometer track. There are no kilometer-long straightaways like at Mugello. This course runs a little different and does seem to have a flair for the riders from Spain.

Okay, the Ducati has been dominant but again those Spanish riders are hard to ignore. Pedro Acosta (+2500 via Bovada) and Aleix Espargaro (+6600 via Bovada) come to mind immediately. Acosta fanned out to +2500 this week as the rookie season has weighed on him a bit. Espargaro knows this is his last dance on the track and he has contended here before.

Germany has the potential to become a Spanish free-for-all. At Online Sports Betting, we wonder about what other possible results could spring up. Do the contenders make this go as expected? Again, expect unsettled conditions in Germany this weekend. All it takes is a little moisture and rain to change the course of the race on Sunday! Those turns and curves become extra dangerous on the slicks or wet tires.

2024 MotoGP Germany Picks Cast A Wider Net

The 2024 MotoGP Germany Picks cast a wider net for Sunday. Yes, there is one more Spanish choice that we will toss out there as a remote possibility for Sunday. Why not Alex Marquez? Marquez is the little brother of Marc Marquez, who won eight straight MotoGP races at Sachsenring. Both have tested here with some excellent results and practice times. Things would have to break just right for the younger Marquez. However, a decent qualifying run could pave the way to a shocker.

Yes, we like Espargaro in this spot. Furthermore,  if the number stays at +6600, a wager will be made. However, there is something crazy and stunning about Alex Marquez at +8000. Again for all the Marco Bezzecchi talk, Marquez seems to have a better knowledge and understanding on this track. Bezzecchi likes the speed and not that Omega or those curves and turns so much. Then, someone asked about Fabio Quartararo. His results feature one double-digit result at 10 points. That is it.

The problem with 2024 MotoGP Germany Picks appears the most obvious. After the top choices, there feels like little is left. On the other hand, that offers some longer shots to take a risk on. Jack Miller is out there all the way at +12500. The driver not listed option at +20000 to +25000 is not viable here either. Taking Alex Marquez here may be the best of the rest as far as taking a small wagered swing that appears bigger.

2024 MotoGP Germany Picks Peak At The Future

The 2024 MotoGP Germany Picks peak at the future. While the rider is not leading just yet, Francesco Bagnaia is now a -250 favorite in some circles to win a third straight World Title. Now, with the second half race setup and scheme, we can understand why at Online Sports Betting. Jorge Martin stands at +225 even if he could be a better choice for Germany this weekend based on previous results, lap times, etc.

Unfortunately, Marc Marquez is starting to fan out in the numbers. he is now in the +1100 to +1400 range as Bagnaia and Martin assert their dominance. Marquez is only 58 points from the lead. This is not impossible even if the sportsbooks tend to feel otherwise. Even Enea Bastianini is approaching +3000 now. It is a sign that the hierarchy for the 2024 MotoGP World Title has more or less been set.

Alright, with upgrades in mind, can KTM and others catch up to the Factory Ducati in time to make this more of a race? That is the burning question. If one rider could be worth a longer choice. It would be Bastianini here but the Italian must stop taking so many risks.
