The anticipation is palpable, but I'm here today to explain why the Rangers will likely snatch the win from the jaws of the underdog Diamondbacks.
Game Preview
In the upcoming World Series slugfest, despite the Diamondbacks' recent hot streak, the Rangers' powerhouse offense, led by ALCS MVP Adolis Garcia, is primed to take the win. Oddsmakers are backing the high-powered Rangers offense in this matchup.
Let's get the ball rolling with a nod to the Rangers' offense, which has been nothing short of tremendous. The star of the show? Adolis Garcia. This guy has been literally and figuratively smashing it out of the park.

His phenomenal MVP performance in the ALCS is still fresh in our minds, where he launched not one, but two home runs, including a grand slam against the Astros. Talk about bringing the heat!
Don't get me wrong, the Diamondbacks have had their fair share of glory. Their comeback against the Phillies in the NLCS was nothing short of miraculous.
But miracles don't always happen on repeat, and I'm skeptical they can pull off another one on the road.
I would recommend betting on the Rangers to win this first game. The crowd at Globe Life Field will be raucous and I don't see anything stopping this Rangers offense from scoring runs in bunches.
The Rangers are favored for a reason. Their offense is stacked, and when they bring their A-game, it's like a freight train - unstoppable.
Conversely, the Diamondbacks have been teetering on the edge, barely scraping by with just 84 wins during the regular season. The holes in their lineup are glaring, with a lack of depth and a slump in Christian Walker's performance.
This gives the Diamondbacks a very thin margin for error.
The Diamondbacks' struggles are even more evident as we dig into the stats. They've allowed more runs than they've scored, and they don't have a fourth starter.
Their pitching has been decent, but more is needed to compensate for these shortcomings.
Oddsmakers have priced the Diamondbacks at +142 underdogs on the moneyline. The implied probability of the Diamondbacks winning is 41%.
I don't see the Diamondbacks winning this first game on the road, despite their road winning streak, I think they lose this first game on the road.
I would not recommend betting on the Diamondbacks to win this game at +142 odds.

Total Runs
Now, let's take a look at the total in this matchup. The total in this game is 8 runs and while that may feel low, I'm eying the under.
On the other hand, the Rangers have shown resilience and adaptability. Sure, their pitching staff isn't the deepest, but it's their bats that have been doing the talking.
And boy, have they been loud. Despite their solid showing, Gallen, Kelly, and Pfaadt might find it tough to silence the Rangers' offense that's far more patient and deep compared to Philly.

Nathan Eovaldi will be pitching for the Rangers and he has been excellent since returning from injury. He has been unbeaten in the postseason, winning games 2 and 6 in the series against the Astros.
These teams will take some time to figure each other out. I'm not expecting offensive fireworks right off the bat. This feels like a lower scoring game than anticipated that the Rangers win 5-2.
While it's going to be a thrilling World Series, I see the Rangers taking home the glory.
They've got the offensive firepower, a star player in top form, and a patient, strategic approach that's likely to outlast the Diamondbacks' pitching. So, buckle up, folks.
We're in for a wild ride. As always, remember to gamble responsibly and enjoy the game.
