Eight teams are laying odds to win the Counter-Strike 2024 Blast Premier World Final. Which futures bet is best? OSB is here with the answer!

Ready or not, here come some piping-hot Counter-Strike futures.

Fall is almost upon us, which means it’s a great time to tackle the best bets to win the 2024 Blast Premier World Final.

  • What: Blast Premier World Final
  • Game: Counter-Strike 2
  • When: Wednesday, October 30 - Sunday, November 3
  • Where: Sentosa Island, Singapore
  • Venue: Resorts World Convention Center
  • Prize Pool: $1 million
  • Reigning Champion: Team Vitality

Eight teams are currently laying odds to win this Counter-Strike honor. Here is a look at the latest online esports betting odds in advance of the Blast Premier World Final:

Our usual reminder: Please, pretty please, remember to double check these Counter-Strike 2 betting lines right up until you submit your wager. Our Blast Premier World Final betting odds are accurate entering Friday, September 12. That gives the top online sportsbooks in the United States plenty of time to shift before this competition kicks off at the end of October.

And rest assured, the Counter-Strike 2 betting odds will change. Not only are tackling this exercise more than one month out, but all of these teams have a handful of matches and tournaments on their upcoming docket. The markets for each will invariably shift based on how they fare during these competitions. In particular, it would not surprise us to see FaZe betting odds (+650) moving closer towards even money over the next six weeks or so.

For the time being, though, Vitality (+275) is the odds-on favorite to win the 2024 Blast Premier World Final. But their margin is slim. Natus Vincere (+300) and Spirit (+325) are right behind them. And while odds may imply otherwise, there’s no such thing as a true dark horse at this juncture of the season. All eight of these teams are capable of winning it all.

Breaking Down the Counter-Strike 2 Format for 2024 Blast Premier World Final

The Blast Premier World Final will begin with a Group State. Each group will comprise four teams playing best-of-three matches. This part of the tournament follows a double-elimination format. That means once you lose twice, you’re out.

Each of the top-three teams from the Group Stage will move onto the Blast Premier World Final playoffs. This stage follows a single-elimination format

For the first two rounds of the playoffs, matchups will be best of three. However, in The Grand Final, the remaining two teams will duke it out in a best-of-five clash.

Why Vitality is Favored to Win the 2024 Blast Premier World Final

Vitality (+275) is on something of a roll. They won the Blast Premier World Final in 2023, and they also picked up a first-place victory in the 2024 IEM Cologne this past August. On top of that, Vitality wound up finishing fifth at the Counter-Strike World Cup

Over the past year, the team has won 73 percent of their matches. And at this writing, they are also on a massive winning streak. Teammates ZywOo and apEX have been operating at their peaks as well. That duo alone has rendered them extremely difficult to beat.

Now, the Anubis map has given Vitality some trouble over the past three months. It also hasn’t mattered. Vitality has not lost a match in months

Is FaZe Being Undervalued by Counter-Strike 2 Betting Markets?

Linemakers and bettors seem to be down on FaZe (-650) in the Counter-Strike arena. That’s a little surprising.

Then again, maybe it should not be. While FaZe has won 80 percent of their matches over the past month and 72 percent for the last year, it has struggled in recent weeks to cobble together first-place finishes.

FaZe finished in fifth or worse through six consecutive tournaments between late April and early August. That’s a troubling trend entering an S-Tier tournament (i.e. the elite of the elite).

And yet, we do think they’re undervalued. The lineup of rain, broky, karrigan, frozen and ropz remains among the most well balanced in the business. Plus, we may have seen a return to form at the IEM Colgne 2024, where FaZe won the whole thing.

Better Bet to Win The Grand Final: Natus Vincere or Spirit?

Along with Vitality, Natus Vincere (+300) and Spirit (+325) are currently neck-and-neck for the best Counter-Strike odds

While this doesn’t shock us, we are a little taken aback that Spirit doesn’t presently hold the edge. Sure, Natus Vincere has proven to be scrappy—in a dominant way. But they have shown some cracks in best-of-five settings.

Most recently, Natus Vincere fell 3-1 to Vitality on August 18. Their last best-of-five matchup came all the way back in mid-June, against…Team Spirit. And they lost.

To be sure, the margins between these squads are razor thin overall. But that’s why we’re getting hung up on these details.

Who Is the Best Bet to Win the 2024 Blast Premier World Final?

Believe it or not, we’re inclined to go with Faze to win the 2024 Counter-Strike 2 Blast Premier World Final.

Indeed, the past three months of results basically beg us to go a different direction. And we are certainly intrigued by the levels at which the reigning champion Vitality are playing. And sure, FaZe has thrown up all sorts of red flags. We can’t spin a 58 percent win rate over the past 90 days in a positive light.

However, FaZe’s performance at the IEM Cologne 2024 is really swaying us. They look like they’re turning a corner. Not only did they make quick work of Sangal Esports in the IEM Cologne 2024 Final, but their overall win margin on maps such as Inferno and Nuke remain absurd. And though they are winless for the past three months on the Dust2 and Mirage maps, we have seen enough close calls not to read too much into it.
