Who Will Win Song of the Year at The Grammys?

We are strongly in favor of pouncing on Olivia Rodrigo - drivers license (+115) while the song still offers to pay out better than even money. We're actually surprised this tune hasn't been billed as the odds-on favorite...by a mile.

With over 1 billion streams across the internet in 2021, no song came close to matching the popularity of 'drivers license." It even spawned a bunch of remakes across different genres, which is difficult to do in the first year of existence. It usually takes longer than that to inspire a ton of covers from popular imitators.

Granted, Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever (+200)Leave The Door Open - Silk Sonic (+500) and MONTERO - Lil Nas X (+1000) deserve your attention. Alicia Keys and Brandi Carlisle - A Beautiful Noise (+3000) also looms as a super interesting dark horse as perhaps the best collaboration of the calendar year.

Still, the ubiquity of 'drivers license' speaks for itself. This is a no-brainer bet for us.

OSB Prediction: Olivia Rodrigo - drivers license (+115)

2022 Album of The Year Prediction at The Grammys

Here's a look at the latest betting odds for Album of the Year at The Grammys:

tGTBets
Olivia Rodrigo - Sour+150
Tony Bennet/Lady Gaga - Love for Sale+265
Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever+275
Taylor Swift - Evermore+525
Lil Nas X - MONTERO+900
Doja Cat - Planet Her+1200
H.E.R. - Back of My Mind+2500
Justin Bieber - Justice+2500
Kanye West - Donda+2500
Jon Batiste - We Are+3000

There's a real good chance Olivia Rodrigo pulls off another win with 'Sour' (+150). She received endless acclaim not just for going multiplatinum at such a young age, but because she did an excellent job blending different genres across her entire record.

At the same time, Justin Bieber isn't getting enough love for 'Justice' (+2500). Perhaps that informs how much consideration he'll actually receive for the award, but at 25-to-1 odds, he's tough for us to pass on. In the end, it's between 'Sour' and 'Justice."

2022 Best New Artist of The Year Prediction at The Grammys

Below you'll find the betting odds for the Best New Artist of the Year at The Grammys:

Best New ArtistGTBets
Olivia Rodrigo-450
The Kid Laroi+400
Arlo Parks+1600
Saweetie+1800
Glass Animals+2000
Finneas+2500
Baby Keem+3000
Jimmie Allen+4000
Arooj Aftab+5000
Japanese Breakfast+5000

Mentally prepare yourself for a clean sweep from Olivia Rodrigo (-450). She is the heavy favorite because she's absolutely everywhere. Rodrigo dominated the 2021 year in music so thoroughly that she doesn't even feel like a new artist anymore. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone between the ages of 12 and 37 who cannot sing along to at least one track from 'Sour.'

Don't sleep on The Kid Laroi (+400), either. The protege of the late Juice WRLD spent the year going platinum on a number of occasions while collaborating with huge names in the industry like Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, among many others. If anyone can steal this category from Rodrigo, it's him. We just don't expect him to do it.
