The 67th edition of the Grammy Awards ceremony is on February 2nd at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The 2025 ceremony will honor the best recordings, compositions, and artists from September 16th, 2023 to August 30, 2024.

One of the top categories to win is the Song of the Year. To put it in sporting terms, Billie Eilish is the defending champion. Last year she won with her smash hit record What Was I Made For? from the soundtrack to the Barbie movie.

In 2025, Eilish is the favorite to pick up the award again, this time, for her hit Birds of a Feather.

The full list of nominations was announced in November. Also in the running with Eilish to win are Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Kendrick Lemar, Beyonce, Bruno Mars/Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift.ft Post Malone, and Shaboozey - quite an impressive list of names.

Billie Eilish: Birds of a Feather -200

Billie Eilish is on the brink of creating history.

Along with her co-writing brother Finneas O’Connell, the pair are favored to win a third Grammy Song of the Year award with their hit single Birds of a Feather.

No artist has ever won this award three times. And Eilish could be about to achieve that at the tender age of 23.

Eilish already has nine career Grammys. She is nominated in another seven categories this year.

If she doesn’t win the Song of the Year, Eilish is still likely to give an acceptance speech sometime in the evening.

But given her staggering career to date, it will be no surprise to see her take home this category for a third time.

Kendrick Lamar: Not Like Us +200

There is an old saying that there is no such thing as bad publicity, and that’s exactly the case with Lamar’s song Not Like Us.

Thanks to the American's feud with Drake, the song has hit the headlines for a number of reasons.
Not Like Us originally wasn’t one of the two betting favorites. Chappell Roan’s Good Luck, Babe! was the original second favorite.

But given all the attention Lamar has been receiving, including his planned appearance at the Super Bowl, the bookmakers have been taking a lot of bets on his now notorious hit and have seen fit to shorten the odds.

Chappell Roan: Good Luck, Babe! +500

Chappell Roan has been nominated in plenty of categories, including Best New Artist, where she is the betting favorite.

Roan’s song, Good Luck, Babe! was originally the second favorite behind Eilish’s entry into this category.

I wouldn’t let the drift in the betting odds put you off backing Roan to win. After all, it’s The Recording Academy who calls the winners, not the punters and the bookmakers.

We feel it still has a chance of winning.

Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga: Die with a Smile +500

The hit single Die with a Smile by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga is nominated for two awards at the 2025 ceremony. As well as being entered for the Song of the Year category, it also earned Mars and Gaga a nomination in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.

The song has serious credentials for winning the award. Not only was it number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart for three weeks in a row, but it was also the fastest to hit one billion streams on Spotify, achieving the feat in just 96 days.
