Night 13 Premier League Darts Betting Picks

The 2023 Premier League Darts roadshow is back in England this week, with Night 13 coming from the First Direct Arena in Leeds. Nathan Aspinall won last week in Rotterdam, but who will take the honors this week in Leeds? Let’s take a look with our latest free darts betting picks.

  • What; Premier League Darts - Night 13
  • Where; First Direct Arena, Leeds, England
  • When; Thursday, April 27th, 2023
  • Time; 2 pm ET

Nathan Aspinall won his first night of the season in Rotterdam. The win saw Aspinall move up to third place on the Premier League Darts points table. And with just four nights remaining this season, Aspinall could be timing his run to perfection (only the top four qualify for the playoffs).

In the final, Aspinall defeated the Iceman, Gerwyn Price. Price’s run to the final in Rotterdam has seen him take over top spot in the table from Michael van Gerwen. He has now gone one point ahead of MVG, something which seemed unthinkable a few weeks ago, especially after MVG won his third night in succession back on Night Six in Liverpool.

The change at the top of the table has also brought about changes in the latest betting. To top the table, Price is now -110, with van Gerwen at +100. Whilst in the betting to win the Premier League, Price is now favorite at +150, with MVG now at +160.

The Dutchman had been the favorite all season. But such is the form of Price, he has now overtaken MVG in all the Premier League Darts betting markets.

Night 13 Schedule

This week Gerwyn Price is on the opposite side of the draw to both MVG and Michael Smith. The Iceman takes on fellow Welsh compatriot Jonny Clayton in the quarter-final, with the winner set to face either Night 12 winner, Nathan Aspinall, or Dimitri Van den Bergh, in the semi-final.

Quarter-Finals

  1. Michael Smith vs Chris Dobey
  2. Michael van Gerwen vs Peter Wright
  3. Gerwyn Price vs Jonny Clayton
  4. Nathan Aspinall vs Dimitri Van den Bergh

Semi-Finals

  1. Michael Smith/Chris Dobey vs Michael van Gerwen/Peter Wright
  2. Gerwyn Price/Jonny Clayton vs Nathan Aspinall/Dimitri Van den Bergh

A match against Jonny Clayton might not be as easy as it sounds. Clayton has recently won two Premier League nights, and just last Sunday he was victorious in the Austrian Darts Open.

Betting to win Night 13

As we mentioned earlier, the form of Gerwyn Price has seen the best darts betting sites make the Iceman favorite in all current Premier League Darts betting markets.

This also applies to the betting to win Night 13 in Leeds where the best online sports betting sites have installed Gerwyn Price as their favorite at +200. Price is followed in the betting by Michael van Gerwen at +250, with Michael Smith next at +350.

The main three front-runners are followed by Peter Wright, Jonny Clayton, and Nathan Aspinall, all at +1200. With Dimitri Van den Bergh and Chris Dobey both at +1400.

For our pick to win Night 13, we’re going for Gerwyn Price. He’s too hot to ignore at the moment, and although he lost in the final last week, the simple facts are that Price is just playing too well at the moment and has to be our pick.

Michael Smith -215 vs Chris Dobey +185

Onto our quarter-final betting picks, and the first match we’re looking at involves Michael Smith and Chris Dobey. Both these players lost in the opening round last week, Smith went down 6-3 to Gerwyn Price, Dobey lost 6-4 to Jonny Clayton.

Smith is currently outside the top four and needs the points. So, we’re backing him to win.

Michael van Gerwen -226 vs Peter Wright +221

MVG lost in the quarter-final to Nathan Aspinall last Thursday, and then on Sunday he lost 7-0 to Josh Rock in the semi-final of the Austrian Darts Open.

At the moment, it’s difficult to predict which version of MVG is going to turn up week-on-week. So for a bit of value, we’re going to back Peter Wright to win.

Gerwyn Price -240 vs Jonny Clayton +200

Jonny Clayton may well have just picked up the Austrian Darts Open title, but this week he finds himself up against the Iceman, who is the in-form player in world darts.

Price defeated Clayton 6-1 last week in Rotterdam, and he is also our pick to win on the night. We have no option but to pick Price to beat Clayton.

Nathan Aspinall -125 vs Dimitri Van den Bergh +105

Dimitri Van den Bergh made it to the semi-final in Rotterdam, where he lost to, yes, Nathan Aspinall (6-4). Aspinall is challenging for the top four, while for Van den Bergh it’s not looking like it’s going to happen.

Both these players have the beating of each other, but at the moment we have to go with Nathan Aspinall to win.
