Mumbai Indians - (+450)
It's been quite the turnaround in recent times for the Mumbai Indians. The five-time former champions had a horror campaign in 2024 as they finished rock-bottom of the league phase with just eight points.
But they will enter the 2025 season as the bookmakers' favorites, and rightly so considering the changes they have made. Last season they had major issues with their bowling whenever Jasprit Bumrah wasn't on the field, but the return of New Zealand star Trent Boult will surely address that issue as he offers a fresh option with just as much quality and pace. Add to that the fact they have brought in Deepak Chahar for added power, and there will be no such issues this time around.
There had been some concerns over Hardik Pandya's leadership skills too after last season, but he proved the problems were beyond him with his performances during the T20 World Cup as vice-captain - and the added help he will now have means we should see the best of him this season.
He led Gujarat to their first-ever title in 2022 and a second final, while also leading India to victory this summer to prove he is a top player in the world. A dependable all-rounder capable of keeping his composure in the biggest moments, if he plays well Mumbai will surely go a long way and at +450 there is decent value in them doing a total 180-degree flip this season.

Sunrisers Hyderabad - (+650)
Sunrisers Hyderabad is a team aiming for success this time around after some mixed results in the past, they are determined to compete for the title.
The success of the team will rely upon finding good backup for Chahar as well as managing injuries and load. They have plenty of star quality with the likes of Pat Cummins, Atharva Taide and Kamindu Mendis so they houldn't be ruled out - but a title win for the first time since 2016 seems unlikely and this looks like a bet to avoid.

Chennai Super Kings - (+650)
The 2025 season will be the 16th year for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL and they will be looking to improve on their fifth-place finish in 2024.
Kolkata Knight Riders - (+800)
The 2025 season is the 18th for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, and come into the season as the defending champions after winning their third title by beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in last season’s final.
