Katie Taylor is putting her IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO women's super lightweight titles on the line against Amanda Serrano.
The fight is on the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson. It was originally scheduled to take place on July 20th. Due to an injury sustained by Tyson, the main event was postponed, and as a result, so was Taylorâs fight with Serrano.
The two boxers first met in an all-time classic fight in April 2022 at Madison Square Garden. On that occasion, Taylor was the undisputed lightweight champion. The fight was the first womenâs boxing match to top the bill at The Garden. It was also described as the biggest womenâs fight of all time.
The contest lived up to its billing. Serrana hurt Taylor in the fifth. But Taylor hasnât been a champion boxer all these years for no reason and came back strongly to win by a split decision.
The scorecards read 94â96, 97â93, and 96â93. Sports Illustrated later named it their Fight of the Year.
If we get half the fight in Dallas, it will be some spectacle.

Katie Taylor: Career Breakdown
Katie Taylor has a professional boxing record of 23 wins, 1 loss, and 0 draws. Six of her wins have come by way of knockout.
Taylor is the current undisputed super-lightweight champion. She won the IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO belts by defeating Chantelle Cameron.
Taylor had originally challenged Cameron after her rematch with Serrano fell through. As a result of Cameron accepting the fight, Taylor returned to super-lightweight to take the fight.
The first fight was held in Dublin, the first time Taylor had fought professionally in her home nation of Ireland. Taylor lost a tight contest by a majority decision (94â96, 94â96, 95â95).
Taylor invoked the rematch clause and the two fought again in Dublin in November 2023. This time Taylor made no mistake and won the fight by a majority decision (95-95, 98-92, 96-94). The defeat was the first of Cameronâs career. Donât rule out a rematch somewhere down the line.
The fight against Amanda Serrano will be Taylor's first since the win over Cameron.
Amanda Serrano: Career Breakdown
Amanda Serrano will take to the ring in Dallas with a professional career record of 47 wins, two losses, and one draw. The far more experienced Serrano has won 31 of her fights by knockout.
Serrano is on a five-fight winning streak since her loss to Taylor. The most recent of her wins came against Stevie Morgan in July 2024 by TKO.
The challenger is the younger of the two fighters by two years. But despite this, the 36-year-old has had 26 more professional fights than Taylor has. Serrano will hope her vast experience will be enough to give her the edge if the fight again goes the distance.
Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano Betting Picks and Predictions
Katie Taylor fights out of the orthodox stance, with Amanda Serrano a southpaw. Taylor has a one-inch reach advantage.
Age shouldnât be a factor. Taylor may be getting close to the 40-year mark but is showing no signs of slowing down.
If Taylor isn't at her sharpest, she could be in trouble as Serrano boasts a 66 percent knockout win rate (Taylor has only 26%). But Taylor's ability to take a punch canât be underestimated.
If you think Serrano will win, we recommend a wager on her to win by KO, TKO, or DQ for the better odds of +600.
For our fight winner pick we have to go with form. And that means another win for Katie Tayor. Most likely on points.
