Big-time boxing is back in the USA this weekend. Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis will take on Eimantas Stanionis in a highly-anticipated battle for the IBF, WBA, and Ring Magazine world welterweight titles. Ennis is a heavy odds-on favorite to win at -600. We tell you if the bookies are correct when we name our boxing betting picks.

Jaron "Boots" Ennis and Eimantas Stanionis will meet in a welterweight title unification bout on April 12 in Atlantic City.
American Ennis is putting his IBF title on the line against Lithuanian Stanionis in Boardwalk Hall on Saturday. The bout's winner will also be declared the Ring Magazine welterweight champion.
Both fighters are unbeaten, so somebody’s zero is set to go on Saturday. However, neither fighter has a 100 percent win record, as both have a No Contest on their respective fight records.
Ennis had a fight stopped against Chris van Heerden in December 2020, and Stanionis had his fight against Luis Collazo in August 2021 prematurely ended. Both were due to accidental head clashes.

The latest boxing betting odds favor a win for Jaron Ennis.
The top-rated boxing betting sites make Ennis their -600 betting favorite on the money line. Eimantas Stanionis is +400 to claim the biggest win of his professional boxing career.
Ennis has grown in stature and is set to become one of the biggest names in the sport. The 27-year-old has even drawn comparisons with Roy Jones Jr. in recent years.

Moving onto the props, the fight is -165 to go the distance and +120 to end early. The total rounds spread is 10.5, with over at -230 and under at +190.

Jaron Ennis
Jaron Ennis became the IBF Interim Welterweight champion when he defeated Karen Chukhadzhian by unanimous decision in January 2023.
The win was emphatic, with all three judges scoring the fight 120-108 in favor of Boots.
A successful defense followed against Roiman Villa in July 2023. Ennis defeated the Colombian with a 10th-round KO. But such was the dominance of Ennis, that the referee had already warned Villa’s corner he would stop the bout if their fighter continued to not punch back properly.

Ennis was upgraded to IBF champion in November 2023 after Terrance Crawford was stripped of the belt. Boots has since defended the title twice.
David Avanesyan was his first victim in July 2024. The Russian retired on his stool at the end of the 5th Round.
Ennis then defeated Karen Chukhadzhian for a second time in November 2024. In what was largely a repeat of their first contest, Boots again won by unanimous decision.
Eimantas Stanionis
Eimantas Stanionis won the WBA Welterweight title with a split decision win over Radzhab Butaev in April 2022.
A frustrating time followed for the Lithuanian with a proposed bout against Vergil Ortiz postponed three times in 2023.

This meant Stanionis had been out of the ring for just over 24 months when he fought Gabriel Maestre in May 2024. Stanionis beat Maestre by unanimous decision to defend his WBA belt.
He has had to wait nearly another year for the fight with Ennis.
Jaron Ennis vs. Eimantas Stanionis Betting Picks and Predictions
We can’t see how Jaron Ennis won’t win this fight. Eimantas is a very good fighter, but he is not in the same class as Boots.
The biggest threat to Boots would have to be complacency. There are some huge fights out there to be had, but so far he’s not been able to get them made.
Ennis can’t let this affect him and take his eye off the ball against Stanionis.
If Ennis wants the big fights, he has to continue to impress. The best way to do that is to beat Stanionis in impressive style.
We say this will inspire Ennis to stop Stanionis.
