Frank Martin is a fighter on the up. He has punching power but is still unproven at the elite level. The fight with Davis will give us some indication of where Martin is at in his fledgling career.
Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin Betting Odds
Frank Martin may claim he deserves this fight, but itās fair to say that the top boxing betting sites arenāt giving him much chance. Martin is the underdog, he is +450 on the money line to win with BetUS.
Okay, thatās far shorter than Malik Zinad was to beat Dmitry Bivol in a recent world title fight, but it still makes Martin a hell of a long shot.
Gervonta Davis is between -600 and -700 to win and extend his unbeaten 29-fight record.
In the props markets, the oddsmakers see the fight ending early. There is +150 available on the fight going the distance, and -200 on the fight finishing before the end of the 12th Round.
In the method of victory betting, Gervonta Davis is -165 to win by KO/TKO/DQ and +240 to win by Decision or Technical Decision. Frank Martin is +750 to win on points and +1100 to win by KO/TKO/DQ.

Gervonta Davis Career Breakdown
Gervonta Davis has a professional boxing record of 29-0. Out of his 29 wins, 27 have come inside the distance, with only Isaac Cruz and German Meraz managing to go the distance with the champion. Both of them lost by unanimous decision.
As well as Isaac Cruz, other notable wins for Davis have come against Hector Garcia and Ryan Garcia, who he defeated with a 7th-round KO in a catchweight contest in his most recent fight.
As you might be able to tell from his record, Davis is a big hitter. The Southpaw fighter isnāt nicknamed the Tank for no reason. And at 29 years of age, he is in the prime of his career.
Frank Martin Career Breakdown
Frank Martin is also unbeaten in his professional boxing career, boasting an 18-0 record with 12 wins by KO and six by decision.
Martinās Resume is nowhere near as impressive as that of Davis. His two most recent fights have gone the distance. In December 2022, he defeated Michel Rivera, and in July 2023, he defeated Artem Harutyunyan, both by unanimous decision.
Like Davis, Martin is also 29 years old and also a Southpaw. With only 18 fights to his name, Martin is a bit of a late developer.
Itās unlikely Martin can match Davis for punching power, and this is also by far the biggest stage the challenger has ever fought on, unlike Davis who is well used to big events like this.
Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin Betting Picks and Predictions
Gervonta Davis has been out of the ring for over a year for reasons we donāt really want to go into. Has the personal upheaval in his life taken a toll? It may have. But Davis also looks the sort of guy who wouldnāt let much bother him.
At 29, we would expect Davis to come into the ring in his usual shape and live up to his reputation as the No.8 ranked pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
As for Frank Martin, he is an unknown quantity at this level. Itās easy to assume that he will lose. But the truth is we donāt really know how Martin is going to perform on the big stage until he gets his chance.
That said, it would be silly to pick Frank Martin to win. But at the same time, we are not picking Gervonta Davis to win at -600.
We donāt see the fight going the distance. One option is to back the fight to end early at -200. And the other, and this is our pick, is for Gervonta Davis to win by KO/TKO/DQ at -165.
