Eric Uribe

Born and raised in Nevada, Eric was exposed to the world of sports betting at an early age. He yearned to be 21 just to hit the sportsbook, and when that day finally came, he became a regular at the smoke-filled room, sweating out bets with sketchy characters. Eric's passion for sports betting hasn't wavered since. However, he's developed a separate interest in business too. Eric combines both these deep passions for OSB where he not only drops expert betting advice, but also researched news about the state of industry. Things like new legalization bills, tax changes, state revenue, innovation, and so much more!

Rose Bowl Odds

2024/09/03

The Rose Bowl is among the handful of college football bowl games that helps decide who's playing in the National Championship. However, this isn't the case every year. Six bowl games make up the college football playoff field—they're known as the New Year's Six—and they change on a rotating basis. Two get the nod each […]

ReliaQuest Odds

2024/09/03

As we alluded to earlier, ReliaQuest Bowl contenders do not abide by a specific formula. Initially, the game is scheduled to host champions from the SEC and Big 10, but that's subject to change and usually does change because select squads from each conference end up making higher-tier bowl games. These superior opportunities are known as the New […]

College Football Playoff Odds

2024/09/03

Current odds to make the college football playoff are not the only wagers you have the option of making. Those are future gambles. There's also the singular games to think about themselves. Peach Bowl Odds

2024/09/03

Orange Bowl Odds

2024/09/03

Orange Bowl participants change every year, as do the stakes, but the general theme is the same: It is a game for the elite-most teams. Overall, though, the Orange Bowl is broken up into two different versions. First and foremost, there's the college football playoff version, which is when the winner goes on to play […]

NCAA Football National Championship Betting Odds

2024/09/03

New college football bettors can have a tough time distinguishing between bowl games and the National Championship itself. That's not a problem. It happens. But it's both easy and important to differentiate because one allows you to bet futures and the other does not. Bowl games are not determined in advance. The matchups are set based on the […]

Las Vegas Bowl Odds

2024/09/03

The betting popularity on the Las Vegas Bowl has waxed and waned over its short life span, in no small part because it isn't among the matchups that make up the college football playoff or help determine who heads to the National Championship. Those stakes are reserved for the following high profile matchups, on a rolling […]

Holiday Bowl Odds

2024/09/03

This is a fair question. The Holiday Bowl is not part of the college football playoff—which simply includes the top four teams in the country as determined by a committee of impartial judges—and its participants have no chance at making the National Championship. On top of that, there are always non-college-playoff bowl games that will […]

Fiesta Bowl Odds

2024/09/03

As referenced above, the Fiesta Bowl plays a role in determining which two teams reach the National Championship—sometimes. Each year, the top four teams are assigned to match up across two different bowl games. First place plays fourth place; second place faces third place. The bowl games they partake in, however, change on a rotating […]
