What do we think of Team Manitoba - Lawes? This is where it gets tough. Kaitlyn Lawes has not experienced the glory in such a long time. There were the Olympic golds but that was seven years ago now. Her team is capable and any team can win this tournament. However, to go up against Homan and Einarson may be too tall a task.
However, the one thing about events like this is the following. The format leads to unexpected results sometimes. Way back in 2015, Lawes and her team pulled off an improbable upset representing Moose Jaw and nearly did again in 2020. She is hard to count out.
