The MotoGP riders appeared headed for Kazakhstan. However, the race was ultimately canceled after much consideration. Yes, the riders head to the beautiful city of Misano Adriatico. Misano Beckons Before The Far East

Misano beckons before The Far East which throws off some expecting a trip to the land of Kazaks. Now, this was a unique race in the sense that it was a one-off in 2020 then again in 2021. Yes, this track gets used again for 2024. By the way, the last MotoGP rider to win at the Emilia Romagna was none other than Marc Marquez. The Spaniard is 53 points behind Jorge Martin for the championship lead. Also, he is 46 points behind Francesco Bagnaia for second.

The Grand Prix in Misano should be replaced by the race in Kazakhstan in 2025. Now, no one truly knows if we will be back in Misano anytime soon. It is one of those tracks that should be revered. The 16-turn track gets riders really amped up for a September romp. Again, this race will go for 27 laps at 4.226 kilometers per lap. Francesco Bagnaia took the pole the last time the race was here in 2021. That lap time was a shade over 93 seconds.

This is one of those races were being quick and technical is the most optimal. In theory, the factory Ducati's have an advantage here. However, as we all know, anything can happen. Look at what happened a couple of weeks ago. Bagnaia won the spring but Marquez won the race. Lost in all of this was the Bastianini performance as he managed 22 points despite several problems with his bike. Sometimes, it is more about not losing a ton of points.

Okay, this race is massive given the Far East circuit arguably favors Bagnaia and maybe Marquez over Martin. Again, with Marquez figuring out his Ducati so well. Considering his form, he could be formidable enough even with seven races left. The final third can still reveal twists to come.

GP Emilia Romagna Bets Roll On The Marquez

The GP Emilia Romagna Bets roll on the Marquez for Sunday. Yes, this feels crazy every time we go for this. However, Marquex can turn it on during races like few racers ever could. Take a look at what happened two weeks ago again. By all rights, Bagnaia probably should have swept. Instead, Marquez took 30 points total to Bagnaia's 29. It was a 1-2-3 podium sweep for Marquez-Bagnaia-Bastianini. Sure, our order was off but podium bets care not for such things.

Yes, the race between Marquez, Martin, and Bagnaia expect to be the main event. After that, there will be segments of racers who could surprise. Honestly, Marquez versus Bagnaia in the closing laps for a second race in a row would be epic. At San Marino, the sweats alone were amazing. Marquez pulled away and ended up more than three seconds ahead. For that to happen on a track Bagnaia is normally faster at showed the form the Spaniard is showing.

The finality of the 2024 MotoGP Emilia Romagna Picks is this. After the top eight choices, the drop off is too much now to consider anyone else. Simply, at +350, taking Marquez to get his third win of the season and month would be something else. It could actually pave the way for a potential three-way race with the Far East to come.

Okay What About The Italians?

The GP Emilia Romagna Bets may have a question about the Italians. While so many riders have a shot, there is the favorite in Bagnaia at +115 on MyBookie this time around. Also, there is Bastianini who is at +550 via BetOnline. Then there are guys like Morbidelli and Bezzecchi. Do not be shocked to see some crazy lap time. Just watch out on Friday as rain could louse up the best-laid plans for some riders.

At the least, Franco Morbidelli carries some interest at +1600 on Bovada. Bezzecchi rolls in at +3000 now. One has to admit taking the longest shot here seems to be a lot of fun. The obvious favorite in Bagnaia is nice. However, let us roll the dice on an unexpected result here. With cooler conditions, the track could favor a slightly slower bike.

Alright, with the numbers as they are and ability, taking an upset long shot here is our plan for Sunday. Bagnaia likely ends up on the podium or wins but Bezzecchi knows this track as good as anyone else..
