Now, there are some nice contests to look at. However, this tilt features some ghosts from Sam Darnold's past. Records do no matter here as this is all personal. Basically, expect some ugly hard-mouthed football! Anyway, Jets vs Vikings bets get the Sunday brunch parties ready.

Jets vs Vikings Bets And A Little Early For Halloween

Jets vs Vikings bets and a little early for Halloween on Sunday morning. So, what are we talking about? Simply, the latter days of Sam Darnold were loaded with questions of whether he saw ghosts. The only ghosts Darnold is seeing now is wins. That's correct. Minnesota is now 4-0 after holding off the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Minnesota remains in first place in the NFC North which few could have expected. After all, Detroit was a pretty solid favorite.

What we neglected to mention was that the New York Jets were the early favorite to win the AFC East. A healthy Aaron Rodgers and a Top 10 defense figured to be potentially enough. However, a 2-2 start and a crippling 10-9 home loss to the Denver Broncos have planted many seeds of doubt. Also, consider that Buffalo is already 3-1 and will get healthier as the season goes on.

Now, the Jets defense has improved each week. The past two weeks have seen teams not even amass 200 yards of total offense. Despite this, the Jets managed nine points and Aaron Rodgers really looked off kilter during the second half. As a result, we get a little apprehensive as the weather in London will be similar to what we saw at MetLife Stadium for Week 4.

Honestly, can Minnesota run the ball effectively enough to keep the Jets pass defense honest? The offense is potent enough to run for around 125 yards and that should be good. Justin Jefferson will get his catches and Sam Darnold will be able to put up points to cover the 2.5-point spread on Sunday. Take the Vikings!

Do Not Expect Too Much Offense Here

Yes, Jets vs Vikings bets suggest do not expect too much offense here. Granted, it feels like the game total could be a bit of a sweat. The Vikings can put up some points but there is this sense that they are due for a bit of a clunker. The Vikings have turned the ball over seven times but have caused 10 turnovers. Sunday could be a muck and grind type of contest. Temperatures will struggle to get to 60 degrees with showers and some breezy conditions at times.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium fans are used to an Easterly wind for the most part. New York Jets and Minnesota Viking players may not be so much. It will be interesting to see who adapts best to the conditions. Then again, the weather could change between now and Sunday. Field conditions could be sloppier or better. No one truly knows. The only thing that is certain is that the two teams will be overseas and enjoying the battle in the trenches.

The game total stands at 40.5 at press time. That feels generous given how Minnesota played against a stout defense like the San Francisco 49ers. Also, the Jets believe they know Darnold almost too well. It will be intriguing to see how they jump on tendencies, etc. Darnold has a much better receiving corps with Minnesota than he ever had with New York.

Aaron Rodgers arguably feels some of the same limitations that previous Jets quarterbacks have felt. Then, the mental and physical mistakes start. The Under here is our pick for Sunday. .

Diving Further Into Week 5

While the Jets vs Vikings bets are fun enough, diving further into Week 5 felt like a plan. Several exciting games dot the landscape even with only 14 on the slate overall. Yes, the bye weeks roll in which means some teams that were potential targets get a much needed break.

San Francisco clobbered New England in Week 4. Okay, it was a 31-13 win that felt more convincing. Either way, they covered. Washington dropped 42 points on Arizona as the over connected. We pivoted to Los Angeles as the Chiefs were almost as bad on Sunday in a 17-10 win. Thankfully that spread was 7.5.

Indianapolis to win outright especially if Joe Flacco starts is one pick to keep an eye on. Miami and New England may not get to 30 points, let alone 36.5. Trusting the Giants to stay within a touchdown of Seattle may be a tall ask. The Saints could cover in Kansas City as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs play yet another close one. Tweak that Patriots and Dolphins Under a little. See how far one can go down the rabbit hole.
