Terence Crawford Career Breakdown
Terence Crawford has an unblemished fight record of 40-0. He is 36 years of age and boxes from a southpaw stance.
Crawford hasnât fought for over a year. His last fight was a TKO win over Errol Spence Jr. in July 2023. The victory saw Crawford become the undisputed champion of the welterweight division.
The win also saw Crawford become the first man in the four-belt era to be undisputed in two weight divisions. He has previously been the undisputed junior welterweight champion.
Crawfordâs win over Spence Jr. was comprehensive. He was dominating the fight and at the time of the TKO, he was 79-70 up on all three scorecards.
Only nine of Crawford's 40 wins have gone the distance. The last time Crawford was taken to the scorecards was in July 2016, when he defeated Viktor Postol by unanimous decision in Las Vegas.
Israil Madrimov Career Breakdown
Despite being unbeaten in his eleven-fight career, Israil Madrimov doesnât even come close to matching Crawford for experience inside a boxing ring.
The 29-year-old Uzbek has a fight record of 10-0-1. He won his world title with an impressive TKO victory over Magomed Kurbanov last March on the Joshua vs. Ngannou undercard in Saudi Arabia. The fight was for the vacant WBA super-lightweight title.
Madrimov fights from an orthodox stance. Seven of his ten wins have come by KO, with three going to the scorecards. He also has a technical draw against Michel Soro on his Resume. That was in his ninth fight back in July 2022 in London.
Terence Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov Betting Picks and Predictions
Except for his victory over Magomed Kurbanov in March, nothing stands out on Israil Madrimovâs fight Resume.
The only real thing the Uzbek has going in his favor is he is younger and naturally a touch heavier than Terence Crawford.
After that, itâs all Crawford. The American boxer has undefined divisions, fighting the best along the way. He even has a five-inch reach advantage, despite there only being a half-inch difference in height.
Crawford is going to win. We have no doubt. But at -900 there is no value.
Instead, we have a couple of options.
No one has taken Crawford to the scorecards in eight years. What chance does Madrimov have of doing this? Not much we suspect.
So we can either back Crawford to win by KO/TKO/DQ at -155, or we can back him to end the fight in under 10.5 rounds at -120.
Our pick is for the fight to end in under 10.5 rounds at -120.
