Ready for some Super Bowl XLIII prop betting predictions? Because here they come.

The Length of “America The Beautiful” is Among the Most Popular Super Bowl 58 Prop Bets

How long will it take Post Malone to sing “America The Beautiful” at Super Bowl 58? The betting lines have held steady, so far, at just under 110 seconds, as you can see below:

  • Over 109.5 seconds (-120)
  • Under 109.5 seconds (-120)

While Post Malone has ensured this is among the most popular Super Bowl 58 prop bets, it is also among the hardest to predict. According to multiple outlets, a performance of “America The Beautiful” can last anywhere between 54 and 126 seconds, depending on the singer and instrumentals.

For what it’s worth, last year’s “America The Beautiful” performance by Baby Face checked in at a hair under two minutes. Post Malone typically doesn’t play an instrument during his sets, so this could cut down his time. Then again, he will extend certain notes and lyrics at the end of certain lines.

Given the cadence at which he operates, we have Post Malone going over 109.5 seconds while singing “America The Beautiful.

OSB Prediction: Over 109.5 seconds (-120)

How Long will It Take Reba McEntire to Sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIII?

This is yet another wager from the list of the most popular Super Bowl 58 prop bets. In fact, betting on the Super Bowl National Anthem may be the most popular prop wager not related to the game outcome, period.

Oddsmakers appear to have set Reba McEntire’s betting line based off last year’s performance from Chris Stapleton:

  • Over 86.5 seconds (-145)
  • Under 86.5 seconds (+105)

At Super Bowl 57, Stapleton’s version of the National Anthem came in at around 86 seconds. However, past performances have varied. The fastest version on record clocked in at 62 seconds during Super Bowl 21 (Neil Diamond). By comparison, the longest version on record slides in at 136 seconds during Super Bowl 47 (Alicia Keys).

McEntire feels like she’ll land somewhere in between short and long. She doesn’t extend lyrics like other contemporaries, but she sings at a moderate pace and is definitely a candidate to incorporate instrumentals. The Super Bowl 58 prop betting market is currently favoring the “over.” We’re inclined to agree—if only because the Super Bowl National Anthem has lasted less than 87 seconds just once since 1990.

OSB Prediction: Over 86.5 seconds

Obviously, we HAVE to Include Taylor Swift in Our Super Bowl 58 Prop Bets

Taylor Swift has surged to the forefront of NFL Super Bowl betting lines in 2024. Not only is she dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, but she has one of the largest and most loyal fanbases in all of pop culture. The end result has been an onslaught of engagement and interest, both positive and negative. Naturally, the best online football betting sites have set odds on whether the cameras will cut to her during Reba McEntire’s National Anthem:

  • Yes (-110)
  • No (-130)

Color us shocked that “Yes” isn’t the betting favorite. People who are frustrated by her appearance at NFL games and during broadcasts could be skewing the line. Or NFL oddsmakers could simply be looking at the math. The New York Times conducted a study just a couple of weeks ago in which they found that Taylor Swift averaged well under a minute of total air time while attending Kansas City Chiefs games.

We are also open to the idea of camera operators trolling the Super Bowl 58 prop betting markets. They could decide to ignore Swift until the game starts—or until Kelce makes a big play.

Nevertheless, we’re going with “yes.” The NFL will very much want to engage any Taylor Swift fans tuning into the game as much as possible. We don’t expect her to receive a ton of air time. But we’d be flabbergasted if they don’t pan to her on multiple occasions, even if only for a couple of seconds.

OSB Prediction: Yes (-110)

Who Will be Seen First During the 2024 Super Bowl National Anthem?

So, we know Reba McEntire will be front and center during the 2024 Super Bowl National Anthem. But you can also bet on which non-QB will be shown first during the quick cuts around the field:

  • Travis Kelce (-200)
  • Christian McCaffrey (+150)

Kelce is no doubt the heavy favorite because the Chiefs won last year, and also because of the Taylor Swift factor. And yet, the Christian McCaffrey Super Bowl 58 betting line intrigues us more.

Think about it: We know Patrick Mahomes will be the first Chiefs player to appear on camera. We can’t say the same about Brock Purdy of the 49ers. He is not the superstar QB1 that Mahomes has become. McCaffrey might be San Francisco’s most valuable player. And given that he could be his team’s first player shown, we’re going to roll the dice on his +150 payout.

OSB Prediction: Christian McCaffrey (+150)
