The 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the final race of the 2023 F1 season. It is a day-night race, offering spectacular views of Yas Island. The Abu Dhabi circuit consists of 16 turns and has two DRS Detection Zones, one of which is 1.2 km long. The circuit underwent a lot of upgrades in 2021 to improve the race. These upgrades included the replacement of two sequences of chicanes with quicker corners, and some slower turns were altered to try and improve speed out of the corners.
Who is the favorite to win the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?
As per usual, Max Verstappen is the favorite to win the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The best Formula 1 online betting sites make Verstappen -350 to win the race for a fourth successive year.
Verstappen is followed in the betting by Lando Norris at +1200. The British driver was +850 to win in Vegas but has seen his odds for this race lengthen after his crash in Sin City. Behind the two leading candidates are Sergio Perez at +1400 and Charles Leclerc at +1600.
Lewis Hamilton is +1800, with his teammate George Russell and Carlos Sainz at +2200. Oscar Piastri is +2500, with Fernando Alonso at +6600.

Verstappen aiming to create history - again
Max Verstappen already has a record-breaking 18 Grand Prix wins to his name this season. The Dutchman can make it 19 wins this weekend, and it’s really hard to see how anybody can stop him from doing it.
In Brazil and again last weekend in Las Vegas, Verstappen had to work harder for his victories. But the bottom line is, he still produced the goods and won both races.
There is absolutely no sign of either Verstappen or Red Bull taking it easy with the World Championship in the bag. They both know this is their moment to set records that could stand for generations, and neither show any sign of easing off ahead of the end of the season.
18 wins in a single F1 season!!! 🏆😱

Can Sergio Perez sign off with a win?
Even though Max Verstappen looks set to win in Abu Dhabi again, is there a possibility that Sergio Perez could spoil the party? The party for Max Verstappen, that is, as it will still be a win for Red Bull should Perez take the checkered flag on Sunday.
In Las Vegas, the third-place finish from Perez was enough to secure him second place in the 2023 Drivers’ Championship. The threat of losing that place to Lewis Hamilton has gone, and with that, Perez has also ensured that Red Bull has completed their first ever 1-2 in the Drivers’ Championship.
Sergio Perez has been under intense pressure this season. He is one of only two drivers other than Max Verstappen to have won a Grand Prix in 2023. In his last two races, Perez has finished fourth and third. Can he finish the season with another Grand Prix win in the UAE?
Our Abu Dhabi Grand Prix betting picks
We just have to go with Max Verstappen to win the race this weekend. The Dutchman is very short at -350 but look at the statistics from this season. He has also won the previous three races at this venue (although the 2021 win may have been slightly flawed).
As we’ve just mentioned, neither Red Bull nor Verstappen looks to have eased off. And there is no reason to believe they will start this weekend.
Okay, so Max Verstappen is very short. So, if you don’t want to back him to win, you are going to need an alternative betting pick. We think that the best alternative bet is Sergio Perez. Lando Norris has been the best performer after Verstappen lately, but the Red Bull of Perez is superior to the McLaren of Norris, and there has been an improvement in form from Perez in his last two races.
We are making Sergio Perez our alternative pick to win the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
