2023 MotoGP America Bets - A Few Opening Numbers

The MotoGP from Texas begins in two days with qualifying and practice to take place Friday and early Saturday. Do not forget about the sprint on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, new numbers have come to us from the books. Let's rev those engines into MotoGP online betting America bets right now. Some interesting changes are upon us.

The speeds attained by these MotoGP bikes increase more and more with each running at a location. We just want to see these guys race and not crash. Can some teams surprise us enough to change our picks? That's a big question. Now, here are the latest 2023 MotoGP overall numbers for the perceived contenders as Austin looms.

Fabio Quartararo+1100+1000+1200
Aleix Espargaro+1200+1400+1300

Online betting sites like Bovada head the numbers for this week but we were surprised by BetOnline and Mybookie a little bit. Now, they followed suit quickly. Even though everything was mostly in line, subtle differences offer a little bit of extra betting leeway here and there.

With MotoGP America Bets, trends change all the time and all it takes is an injury, weather change, or mechanical issues to change things. Portugal showed us one outcome and Argentina something completely different. Weather and decision making made a difference. As always, our countless reviews of the best online sportsbooks. They give great MotoGP betting sites and advice as Sunday afternoon approaches.

2023 MotoGP America Bets - A Mixed Bag

The extra weeks off after a strange back-to-back scenario was needed. Now, the 2023 MotoGP America Bets attempt to figure out which teams improved and those that became worse. Unfortunately, Portugal showed us the dominance of Francesco Bagnaia as he swept both the sprint and race. Then, Marco Bezzecchi took home the top spot in Argentina on a very different and slightly wetter course. One could saw, we saw a mixed bag.

Our ideas to wager come as follows. Again, these opening numbers do not include qualifying, practice, or the "Saturday Sprint." Furthermore, it becomes vital to watch the weather. For example, it will be near 80 on Friday in Austin, rise up to the low 90's on Saturday and then drop into the 70's with a Northerly breeze on Sunday. Rain is not expected to delay the weekend very much at all.

Even this course expects to have a few wrinkles up its sleeve. The 20 turns and 3.426 miles offer lots of potential traps but is a track with some speedy straightaways. Do note several turns where speeds will slow down to around 60 to 70 mph. With the S turns and then 13-17, racers will be tested heavily. The Ducati battled the Suzuki last year as Enea Bastianini cruised to a two-second victory. Bastianini and Marc Marquez both are still out with injuries, but several riders can easily win in Austin.

So, let's take a look at a few contenders who might take the checkered flag on Sunday.

Francesco Bagnaia - 2023 MotoGP America Bets Favorite?

Francesco Bagnaia opened the early numbers at +150 to +175 for the 2023 MotoGP America Bets. In the last week, a little doubt crept into the numbers. While we saw the negative for Argentina, Bagnaia gets a little bit of value all because of a poorly-timed decision while battling near the lead early in South America. Yes, just when everyone thought the Italian would wise up to these errors, he made one and opened up the world championship a bit.

Again, the cycle of aggression while being smart becomes a tough battle especially with the Texas track. Break zones elevate into the critical zone at times. There are a few corners where speeds approaching 200 mph then drop to near 60. Passing zones are a bit more congested in Austin except for the straightaways. Turn 11 into Turn 12 is the longest straight with the one at the final bend is the two main points to pass safely.

Maybe, Bagnia is trying to make things interesting. On the bright side, the Argentina Grand Prix saw him as a -175 to -200 favorite. Maybe, that was too much. Either way, +150 to +175 becomes a lot easier to take for the favorite. When one can toss small wagers on a bit and make a little more profit, that's encouraging. Look at other sports like Formula 1 where Max Verstappen is a whopping -250 to -350 favorite every week. Did Bagnaia learn his lesson? Our thinking is yes here.

The Other Italian Named Marco Bezzecchi

2023 MotoGP America bets asks about Marco Bezzecchi? With Bastianini and Marquez out of action still, a rider like Bezzecchi can seize an early opportunity to pile up points. Yes, the Italian is up nine points on Bagnaia. Bezzecchi is a mere 24-years old which seems a little young but we forget how young Marc Marquez was when he started racking up titles.

From early data, Ducati reigns supreme all-around. Even in the dry, Ducati can carry speed the best. Yamaha remains respectable along with Honda and cannot be counted out. However, Bezzecchi has kept momentum the best for the first two races. His podium and win indicate his ability to stay on track and make quality passes at the right time.

Bezzecchi comes in at +700 on Bovada and that may shorten before Sunday. Get on it, basically!

Can We Try A Longer Shot?

Can we try a longer shot? Again, Jack Miller in the KTM or Alex Marquez in the Ducati remain reasonable.
